Look 2 – Add Some Denim

A denim shirt will always make an outfit more grounded, whether that’s layering under an oversized blazer or pairing with some tougher leather pants. The same goes for SS23’s playful metallic hues. The key here is layering, so start with a good basic – we love Uniqlo’s  cosy and clevere Heattech polos, slipped under an oversized denim shirt and paired with a looser fit silver trouser. Finish off with retro-inspired sunnies and this season’s favourite cowboy boots.

Look 4 – Into The Evening

There is something so effortless about an oversized white shirt in the evening. Elevate it with a snip of lacy pretty lingerie poking out from beneath – we love Kiki De Montparnasse, Anine Bing and H&M on the high street for soft triangle bras. Add an edgy accessory like a chunky chain necklace to balance out the romanticism of the lace.

Add some old school glamour to an otherwise modern look with a faux fur cropped jacket. Point-toe heels or slouchy boots will make this evening-appropriate, but we love it most paired with a simple pair of Sambas for an unexpected cool-girl feel.
