8 Exciting New June Openings In London

London is buzzing with new openings this time of the year, from a South London riverside destination to an activity bar you’re bound to find us at this summer. Whether you’re keen to discover a new favourite al fresco dining spot or you’re wondering if a private members’ club is the thing for you, this is the list to bookmark:
Fulham Pier
Fulham Pier, London’s newest riverside destination, is now open to the public. The vibrant, round-the-clock location has a mix of dining, entertainment and cultural experiences to offer, with a new riverside boardwalk that looks like the ultimate summer al fresco spot. What we’re most excited about is Riverside Market, which sits at the heart of Fulham Pier – a 250+ seated open-plan, food hall and bar set against the backdrop of the River Thames, the market features a line-up of London favourites and new food concepts, including Slice & Dice (Vegas-style pizza pies), Tacos El Rey (excellent Mexican street food), Happy Endings (delicious soft serves and ice cream sandwiches) and Goila Butter Chicken (for the most delicous curries you’ll ever have).

Electric Shuffle, King’s Cross
Big news from one of the most exciting activity bars in London – Electric Shuffle is launching a gorgeous new location just a short walk from Coal Drops Yard. The newest neighbourhood bar in Kings Cross will have a sleek bar with a retro-meets-now style and an outdoor terrace that’s perfect for making the most of the long summer nights. Apart from playing plenty of high-tech shuffleboard, a highlight is the food and drink that will include delicious sharing dishes and next-level cocktails – look forward to sourdough pizzas like BBQ roasted chicken and Gorgonzola portobello and small plates like Middle Eastern sliders and South Korean pork belly bites. Oh, and the salted caramel espresso martini sounds like the perfect summer drink. (As you can probably tell, you’ll find us there as soon as it’s open…)

Barberella
Inspired by the golden age of Roman cinema in the ’70s, Barberella is designed to be a retro, jungle-themed city pad amongst the skyscrapers of Canary Wharf. Housed in a waterside condo decked out in vintage Ferragamo silks, you can expect a huge mirrored glass bar and a reflective 70s chromed lounge – and with the waterside terrace, Barberella looks like a seriously cool spot to hang out this summer. The kitchen will be led by Roma-born Marco Rastelli, who will be serving up a menu inspired by his home town so you can look forward to Ruota di Carretto pizzas, homemade fresh pasta like the new one-metre-long spaghettone, Cornish lemon sole to share and grilled Phillip Warren steaks.

Starters include Trombetta courgette with stracciatella and pangrattato, and seabream crudo with burnt blood orange and chilli.
