Latte Makeup Trend

The trending ‘latte’ makeup look is taking social media by storm with TikTok videos under ‘latte makeup‘ already accumulating over 652 million views! Perfect for a bronzed summer vibe, this trend is all about creating soft, caramel, warm coffee-inspired looks, hence the name. Here’s how to create the look, according to celebrity makeup artist Nathalie Eleni (@nathalieeleni_beauty) and the products to brew up your latte-inspired trend.

How To Get the Look: Latte Makeup

  1. ‌Ensure your skin is prepped, fully cleansed with your skincare and SPF. Add a mattifying primer to your T-zone.
  2. ‌Buff concealer the same colour as your skin tone, around your T-zone, or over any imperfections, blemishes, or redness – this look is about keeping skin ‘real’ but perfected so only apply coverage where needed.
  3. ‌Apply a light earthy soft brown cream shadow over eyelids and under the lower lash line, blending out to keep it soft. Use the side of your blending brush to buff upwards and outwards, creating a soft winged look.
  4. ‌Apply a chocolate brown liner along the lash line.
  5. ‌Use a bronze/gold cream shadow to add your highlight pops, in the centre of your eyelids and inner corners.
  6. ‌Follow with lots of mascara, really zig-zagging from root to tip, building upwards.
  7. ‌Buff a shimmer-free bronzer over the high points of your face and décolleté, then take an illuminating bronzer to add in some highlights to the tops of the cheekbones the bridge of your nose, cupids bow and collar bone.
  8. ‌Softly shape brows to define by using a powder to fill in any sparse areas and comb through with a brow gel.
  9. ‌Line lips with a rich, caramel brown, darker skin tones look stunning with a rich chocolate shade. Blend into the lips to give gloss staying power.
  10. Finally, add a milk chocolate gloss to lips.
