If you haven’t yet had the chance to attend a festival this summer then how about an espresso fest, vegan fest, floating jazz & tea fest or beer fest? Yep, as is the norm, everything is happening all at once, meaning a whole weekend of relying on public transport in attempt to hop, skip and jump between downing beers to downing coffee. There’s also plenty more to do, so buckle up and get busy this August weekend…
We’ve quite possibly found one of the most flora and fauna filled, blossom booming dreams of an afternoon tea going and, we’ll let you into a little secret, you can find it at Kimpton Fitzroy London, snug inside the Palm Court. Yes, darlings, this weekend it’s most definitely time for tea and, on hand to capture you raising your little finger and sipping tea amongst the petals is the fabulously fabulous Miss Magpie Spy. The delightful drawings, as pictured, form part of a decadent afternoon tea by the luxury-oozing Bloomsbury hotel, that includes sumptuous sandwiches and Thibault’s summer rose inspired pastry showstoppers! Whilst there isn’t a guarantee that all will get an illustration, the fizz and fare is most definitely worth going along for.
Laurent-Perrier will also be on hand, whom Kimpton Fitzroy London has partnered with to create the Summer Rose Garden feast. Sashay between bubbles and tea blends and pose for a different kind of picture than the Instagram norm, as Miss Magpie Spy works her magic…

Iced tea, gosh we flippin’ love it. It saves us from hangovers and Britain’s occasional heatwave, and it kinda reminds us of being on holiday. But we must admit, our heads were somewhat turned back in February as the UK’s first and only cold brew tea bags, made using real tea leaves were released and, as if by magic, all of our Lipton dreams came true.
We’re not the only ones to have got ourselves in a tizzy either as, this weekend, Real Iced Tea by Lipton are throwing an epic jazz inspired floating festival called Jazz On The Water which, unsurprisingly, will be London’s first! It’ll be the ultimate fun summer day out, with an endless supply of the cool and crisp Real Iced tea, giveaways and its very own pool packed with fruity inflatables. Guests will also benefit from their own reusable Real Iced Tea water bottle to cool them down in the sun.
The Jazz On The Water shenanigans take place for one day and one day only chaps, on Saturday the 10th, and festival goers will par-tea like there’s no tomorrow. The bands will be floating on a stage in the middle of a swimming pool, as you do, and attendees can laze about sipping one or more of the five refreshing Real Iced Tea flavours.

Knock, knock! Who’s there?
Only Europe’s first ever pop-up Shakespearean theatre arriving at Blenheim Palace! Venture out of the city for an afternoon of Shakespearian fun. There’s four spectacular performances to peruse, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth, and Richard III.
