London Fashion Week starts today, and as the models, bloggers, editors and stylists swarm the streets flaunting their covetable wardrobes, what we really want to know is what goes on behind the scenes? Where do those in the know go for a quick bite to eat in between shows, or a well-deserved drink in the evening? We ask 8 top fashion bloggers where they like to hang out during the madness of London Fashion Week and – no surprises here – they’re pretty stylish places…

The Ivy Café Marylebone
Anneli’s blogging career started life as What I Bought Today; a simple record of her purchases – mainly clothes. Now AnneliBush.com, blogging has become her full-time job, having evolved into fashion, lifestyle and beauty with daily outfit posts in between meetings in Notting Hill and coffee stops at the likes of No.197 Chiswick Fire Station, High Road House and Petersham Nurseries (she’s based in Richmond) shared to 34,000 Instagram followers. But her favourite Fashion Week destination? “The Ivy Café in Marylebone. It’s located in one of my favourite areas, and I just love the classic and old-school decor, food and charming service.”

Lights of Soho
When they’re not in a bikini, coconut in hand, The Collyer Twins (aka Jordan and Loanne) are eating and drinking their way through some of London’s coolest venues and sharing it all with their 31,000 followers. “We really like hanging out in Lights Of Soho – it’s super central and easy to get to.” Pretty handy for LFW, “it’s great for causal evening drinks or meet ups. They also do delicious cocktails and the neon light interior is definitely a winner! We’ve been to loads of events there and have also DJ’d at an event there before, so go quite a bit.”

Chiltern Firehouse
Big hair, oversized sunglasses and statement shoes. That pretty much sums up Kavita Cola’s style, which she blogs about over on KavitaCola.com and to her 23,000 Instagram followers. The freelance stylist documents her life through fashion, beauty and interiors, with a glam date night thrown in. We asked Chloé where she likes to go when she’s the other side of the Channel, “I love to go to The Arts Club on Dover street in London for LFW. The restaurant, terrace and bar each ooze good vibes!”

Dalloway Terrace at The Bloomsbury
One of the most stylish mothers out there, Ashley Wilson shares her sartorial choices through her blog, A Mothers Edit, and Instagram (21,000 followers) with an amusing quote or two along the way. Although she’s heavily pregnant at the moment she cites Dalloway Terrace at her favourite spot during London Fashion Week. Why? “It’s the perfect all day hideaway with Instagram-worthy marble tabletops and bistro chairs. Great food and even better rosé!”

French fashion blogger, Emilie Higle of My Little Fashion Diary puts our wardrobe to shame with her out-there outfit choices – her global Instagram following of 113,000 proves it. In between the shows and parties of London Fashion Week, “my favourite place to go is Sketch, I love going there for dinner and drinks in the evening. The place is beautiful, the pink room is of course my favourite, the food is lovely and I always meet interesting people. Also perfect for Instagram pictures.”

Stylist, creative consultant and art director; Arabella Greenhill aka What I Wear When is a busy lady… But not too busy for a restaurant stop off. “Depending on time we have between shows, I love a Sunday roast at the Delaunay – working at the weekend is never fun so it is such a treat to do something normal! Otherwise it is a quick pop into Whole Foods for some sushi and a matcha latte to be eaten in the back of the car between shows.”

Victoria Metaxas of Aurora Stories
Dandelyan
London-based blogger and photographer Victoria Metaxas began her blog Aurora Stories back in 2013. A few years later and Victoria now posts wanderlust-inducing holiday snaps and photos of her work with fashion bloggers. During LFW, you’ll find her at Mondrian’s Dandelyan, with “its fabulously Instagrammable Art Deco interior with candy pink leather sofas and interesting botanical-inspired cocktails, which are unlike anything you’ve ever tasted”. Sat right on the Thames, “you have a stunning panoramic view of London, including one of my favourite London monuments – St Paul’s. They also do an amazing afternoon tea where they pair a crazy, cool cocktails with every course!” Walk it all off afterwards with a leisurely stroll down Southbank.
