Ferme the front door! There’s a new restaurant coming to Primrose Hill and we’re kinda excited about it. Step forward La Ferme (the farm)!

Opened initially as a market stall and then a Farringdon restaurant by a precociously young 20-year-old François Guerin in 2012, La Ferme is a medley of French seasonal cooking and ingredients. The young chef has teamed up with his step brother Guillaume Dunos who will Head Chef the new venture. Dunos has worked in restaurants including Paris’s Gouquets, Prince de Galles and Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme so should be well suited to this new venture. And what a venture it sounds…

Dunos has created a menu of modern and classic French dishes with three separate menus, the ‘Menu du Chef’, a 4-course menu that will rotate monthly; the ‘Menu du Marché’, a quick, no-frills local market menu which will change weekly and, finally the ‘Menu de la Ferme’, made up of a selection of quintessentially French dishes and puddings. The Menu de la Ferme will include delights like Escargot de Bourgogne, Mini Burger de la Ferme and Croq Monsieur Forestier. Last, and certainly not least, each weekend the restaurant will serve Le Brunch de la Ferme, drawing from a selection of French-inspired croqs, egg dishes and cakes.

The Primrose Hill venue will channel all Guerin’s experience, first on Exmouth Market and Farringdon Road in his new venue. The restaurant will include a mezzanine lounge sponsored by Champagne Deutz Champagne Bar producing an innovative list of cocktails as well as a selection of wines and, of course, Deutz Champagne.
