Christmas might be just around the corner, but we can’t forget to mention Thanksgiving, the American holiday that’s wormed its way over the pond to London. Whether you’re an American who has flown the nest and settled here in the UK or you just fancy a piece of the pie, we’ve rounded up our favourite restaurants serving up a Thanksgiving feast.
This year Thanksgiving falls on Thursday 23rd November – book in now to avoid disappointment.
The Lanesborough Grill
Capturing the season’s flavours, The Lanesborough Grill will serve up a decadent three-course Thanksgiving feast. Executive chef Shay Cooper has created a menu to remember, featuring native lobster chowder to start. Followed by a classic roast turkey with sweet potatoes and a satisfying finish with Tahitian vanilla chantilly or cinnamon ice cream. Available for lunch and dinner.
It’s part of their Thanksgiving overnight package that promises to give guests a home-away-from-home experience. Expect a three-course dinner, daily English breakfast served in-room or at the Lanesborough Grill, early check-in and late check-out available, and a special Thanksgiving amenity in your room upon arrival.
Indigo – One Aldwych
Can’t go home this Thanksgiving? Spend it with your loved ones across the pond at Indigo. The restaurant’s offering includes a feasting four-course meal and glass of Billecart-Salmon, available on Thanksgiving evening, meaning you can savour every bite and moment together.
The menu includes warm maple glazed rolls with whipped butter and crispy bacon; pumpkin soup with glazed chestnuts and rosemary; crab and citrus salad with cornbread; roast Holly Farm turkey with lemon and herbs, mashed sweet potatoes and cranberry relish; and pecan pie with vanilla ice cream.
The Northall
Sip, savour and revel in a joyful dining experience this festive season and book in for the Northall’s epic Thanksgiving feast. Executive chef Andre Garrett will be setting the stage so you can celebrate with those who matter the most.
The feast includes roasted acorn squash soup with chestnut, aged parmesan and truffle; rock oysters with seaweed butter, espelette, breadcrumbs and parsley; wild Atlantic halibut with clam and lobster chowder; free range Norfolk bronze turkey with roasted butter and herbs; and pumpkin pie with cinnamon chantilly and vanilla ice cream.
The Game Bird
Keeping things classic is contemporary British restaurant, The Game Bird. This Thanksgiving, they’ll be flying out the orders, offering everything from butternut squash velouté with sour cream and chive rye bread crouton to maple-glazed Kellybronze turkey with garlic mash, sage and onion stuffing, green bean casserole and roasted pumpkin.
For pud, it’ll finish with an indulgent chocolate pecan pie served with lashings of mocha ice cream. Yum.
Galvin Bar & Grill
Continuing its legendary Thanksgiving tradition, Galvin Bar & Grill will be serving up a four-course menu nodding to some of the holiday’s best-known culinary specialities.
Situated inside Bloomsbury’s magnificent Kimpton Fitzroy London, the restaurant’s menu has been designed to showcase the best of British ingredients with an all-American twist.
Think salad of heritage beets and roast pumpkin with goat’s cheese and hazelnuts; clam chowder with crab cake, aioli and sourdough bread; and roulade of turkey and smoked bacon. All served with Brussels sprouts and sweet potato fondant. Dessert will follow with an apple and pecan tart with Bourbon cream.
The Athenaeum
It’s feasting season and The Athenaeum is going all out with its celebrations. Kicking off November’s festivities will be their Thanksgiving feast.
Available on Thursday 23rd November, expect an evening packed to the nines.
The evening will begin with creamy clam chowder before proceeding to the main event. The main course features stuffed and roasted bronze Norfolk turkey served with whipped mashed potato, buttered green beans, savoy cabbage, red wine jus and cranberry sauce.
Dessert will follow featuring a twist on the classic pumpkin pie. This time in cheesecake form, topped with spiced chocolate soil and Hay ice cream.
The Milestone Hotel & Residences
Immerse yourself in the spirit of Thanksgiving without the hefty plane fare to the USA. The Milestone Hotel & Residences will be celebrating with a banquet filled with all the favourites.
Designed by executive head chef Daniel Putz and his team, the menu features homemade cornbread muffins with roasted chicken and green chilli butter; roasted pumpkin croquettes; New England clam chowder; roasted crown of Norfolk bronze turkey with apricot and chestnut stuffing, greens, root vegetables, roast potatoes and gravy; and dreamy caramelised apple tart with Bourbon reduction and vanilla ice cream.

Duck & Waffle
Enjoy your Thanksgiving feast with a side of London views courtesy of Duck & Waffle’s show-stopper.
On Thursday 23rd, guests can enjoy dishes such as buttermilk cornbread with whipped honey butter; bacon wrapped dates with lingiça, Manchego and mustard; and crispy polenta with truffle mayonnaise. The main event will be the whole roasted bronze turkey with all the traditional trimmings, from sweet potatoes with marshmallows and candied peanuts to green bean casserole.
The concluding dish will be the Bourbon pecan pie with homemade clotted cream.
108 Brasserie
Marylebone’s favourite neighbourhood hangout, 108 Brasserie is gearing up to host a Thanksgiving to remember. Begin your night in the 108 Bar, a stylish space evoking that classic New York cocktail bar glamour. Enjoy Gingerbread Old Fashions, made with Buffalo Trace bourbon, homemade popcorn syrup, tonka bean and gingerbread syrup, or toast with a glass of bubbles before enjoying dinner.
Expect to encompass that true all-American experience with a comforting New England clam chowder with buttery cornbread or sweet potato fritters with spiced slaw and homemade ranch dressing.
The star of the night will, of course, be the Caldecott free-range bronze turkey with all the trimmings. Think green bean and mushroom cassoulet, sweet potato mash, creamed corn roasted potatoes and traditional ‘stove top’ stuffing. Vegetarians can enjoy a crispy mac ‘n’ cheese with all the Thanksgiving trimmings.
Dessert features your pick of pumpkin pie with whipped Bourbon cinnamon cream or state-side favourite – Mississippi mud pie topped with cherry ice cream and roasted marshmallows.
Oblix at The Shard
Combining classic and festive flavours, Oblix at The Shard will be showcasing generous flair this Thanksgiving. Available on Thursday 23rd (or as a tasting menu until Sunday 26th), enjoy a choice of starters, from smoked salmon and rice cracker with seaweed and horseradish to beef carpaccio with mustard dressing and parmesan cheese.
The main course features a Thanksgiving roasted turkey breast with chestnuts, Brussels sprouts and a rich black truffle sauce. It’s served with green beans wrapped in pancetta, baked sweet potatoes seasoned with garlic and rosemary, and roasted pumpkin with sweet maple syrup, sage and stracciatella.
Finish the night off with a classic caramelised pecan pie served with Bourbon ice cream. This is Thanksgiving with a serious view of the city.
The Thanksgiving menu is the only menu available for dinner on Thursday 23rd November. It is offered as a Tasting menu at dinner from Friday 24th – Sunday 26th November, alongside the A La Carte.

Award-winning chef Sally Abé is bringing back her hugely popular feast this American holiday for one day only. Designed with group celebrations in mind, the menu features the flavours of the harvest, highlighting seasonal British produce.
This giant American feature begins with a series of canapés, before moving on to buttermilk and jalapeño cornbread with maple syrup butter. Back by popular demand is the maple roast Cumbrian turkey, served to share with all the trimmings.
Those in need of a sweet hit, leave room for the pumpkin pie ice cream with shortbread and hazelnut, followed by a pecan tartlet.

Offering Londoners and Americans alike a home-away-from-home experience, Town House at The Kensington invites you to sit back and enjoy their feasting options.
Start your evening with a special cuvée at the K Bar, before heading into the dining area for a spread to remember. Menu highlights include crab cakes with sweet potato purée and charred sweetcorn salsa; organic Norfolk bronze turkey leg with the trimmings; butternut risotto with crispy sage and Cornish brie; and pumpkin pie with lashings of Muscovado cream.

Returning with its annual Thanksgiving feast this Thursday 23rd, Sea Containers Restaurant lets you enjoy all the classics, set alongside the Thames.
This year’s line-up includes devilled egg with mustard, paprika and caviar; Norfolk turkey with sage and onion stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean and mushroom casserole, and roasted Brussels sprouts with pecans; and pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

The Montague on the Gardens
Enjoy mouthwatering dishes when you book in for The Montague on the Gardens’ Thanksgiving feast. Available at the hotel’s Blue Door Bistro, the feast will feature dishes such as beet, orange and dill cured lax with pickled cucumber and crème fraiche; pan-seared seabass with braised lentils, leeks, red chicory and tomatoes; roast turkey with pork, cranberry and pumpkin stuffing, roast potatoes and creamed spinach; and chocolate and pecan brownie with vanilla cream. There’s also a vegan-tasting option too, allowing everyone to enjoy.
