The English Grill
The English Grill’s lunch menu is especially impressive, with two courses for £28.57 per person and three for courses £32.57 per person. Using the very-best seasonal produce from suppliers who serve the Queen’s kitchen, and top-quality cuts of meat cooked in the charcoal-fired Josper grill, the dining experience is made all the more special with theatrical tableside carving and a live-action glass kitchen. The English Grill also offers a plant based dish of the day for and diners can end their dining experience on a sweet note with our crêpes suzettes, flambéed at your table. New for 2020: Sunday Roast available 1pm – 9pm with live Jazz 1pm – 5pm, families are welcome. The Curry Room
The exquisite Curry Room at The Rubens serves an inspired three-course menu created by Chef Arun Kumar. Chef Arun and his team will take you on an authentic journey of discovery, blending Indian and African influences. Start your evening with keema samosa, poppadoms, homemade lime pickle, mango chutney and mint raita. The choice of main dishes includes traditional Indian curries and complete the experience with a selection of desserts, including Indian-influenced Kulfi ice cream. The Curry Room also offers the ever popular Chef Kumar’s Thali, with a choice of three curries from our main course selection.
Afternoon Tea – a ritual fit for Royalty
The Rubens’ pastry team has a reputation as one of the best in London, with an award-winning royal-themed Afternoon Tea that pays respect to this British tradition whilst incorporating contemporary twists. Set in the beautiful Palace Lounge overlooking the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace, the Afternoon Tea offers mouth-watering sandwiches, scones and pastries influenced by The House of Winsor. royal events and dining trends throughout the centuries.
To add to this already illustrious experience, The Rubens serves an exquisite Golden Tips tea, placed individually into the teapot with golden tweezers and reputed to be the UK’s most expensive exclusive pot of tea.
In the New York Bar, where resident singer Sourya performs each evening, Head Bartender Director of Bars Silviu Stan expertly mixes innovative cocktails, and hot and cold infusions, including the hot cocktail siphon – a fragrant mixture infused at your table using a unique brewing method. The signature wagyu famous steak sandwich, with wagyu steak, served in the bar with panko breadcrumbs, butter and tonkatsu sauce and triple cooked chips, is a delicious discovery.
The Leopard Bar’s personalised sushi and sashimi experiences, created by Chef Suren, are an exceptional introduction to the finest Japanese cuisine uniquely served on beautiful tiered stands. Chef Suren’s Omakase provides an exceptional 21-course menu designed during the course of the evening taking into account the guests preferences. The evening will commence with an informal discussion with Suren where he will determine their likes and tastes to get a sense of how adventurous their palettes are whilst guests sip on a glass of 1976 Lanson Champagne. while For whisky-lovers, the whisky tasting experience takes guests on a journey of three whiskies, accompanied by a platter of cheeses and chocolate truffles
