This weekend brings the return of London Fashion Week to the city, so we’re looking forward to the movers and shakers of the industry cruising into town. If you’ve been lucky enough to get invited, we hope you’ve got your outfits sorted out, but if you haven’t there are loads of fashion week-inspired menus, parties and events to look forward to. Here are our picks of what to do this weekend:
Try a Fashion Week special tasting menu
Just in time for London Fashion Week, Bocconcino Soho is offering an exclusive tasting menu for £65 per person, that’s inspired by the forty years of LFW. Each guest will receive a glass of Taittinger on arrival and will finish their meal with a special La Moda dessert. The menu includes highlights like the raviolone with goat cheese, saffron butter and tartare of Sicilian prawns and fillet of Dorada with pea puree, goat cheese and caramelised red onion.

Attend a jazz night
Expect a packed dance floor, and music from London’s best jazz musicians at The Ministry, Borough’s workspace and members’ club from Ministry of Sound. With a great lineup curated by Molto Music Group, expect a night to remember featuring the jazz collective, Patterns who will be taking over the bar and lounge.

Brazil: Creating Fashion for Tomorrow (BCFT) is an event that highlights the impact of Brazilian women in the fashion industry and brings together designers, artisans, and fashion leaders who are pioneering eco-conscious practices and redefining fashion’s future. The event includes contributions by brands like Farm Rio with the Yawanawá Indigenous craftswomen and Lenny Niemeyer with its partnership with the Barreirinhas Craftswomen’s Association in Brazil, Maranhão.

Visit a new opening near London
Artfarm has opened a gorgeous new restaurant Da Costa, in Bruton, that’s located on the site of Somerset’s Durslade Farm. Da Costa uses freshly grown, seasonal ingredients from Durslade Farm and the surrounding area to create dishes that blend English cuisine with Italian culinary flair. The menu explores traditional northern Italian recipes and features an array of homemade pasta and risotto, including daily specials cooked over the fire. Highlights of the menu include carpaccio of Durslade Farm beef and Cornish Yarg, handmade buckwheat pasta with Fonduta and South Coast grilled red mullet with fennel and caper salad.

Cheneston’s Restaurant at The Milestone Hotel is serving a delicious Sunday roast just in time for the season. Explore a new Van Gogh exhibition
Walk with a pair of lovers beneath a starry night. Look up at swirling clouds and cypress trees swaying in the wind. Try a luxe new lunch menu
Amazónico is unveiling a new weekend lunch menu, called the ‘Amazónico Asado’, which celebrates the cultural diversity and gastronomic heritage of the Amazon region. The culinary experience begins with pão de queijo, Brazilian cassava bread, and Amazónico’s signature guacamole with red chilli and crispy plantain followed by a selection of Amazónico’s signature dishes including the ensalada amazónica, with mango, avocado, confit tomato, kalamansi citrus, and agua chile, a Mexican style stone bass ceviche, avocado cream and jalapeño.

After its debut last year, The Big Woof Festival is returning to Kings Cross with the ultimate dogs’ day out experience. This free two-day canine wellness festival promises some pretty cool dog events including dog yoga, dog massages and sound baths for pups, as well as a golden retriever showcase that’s bound to find its way to the ‘gram.
