Silver Jewellery Is Back For 2025

We’ve spotted a return to an old favourite as fresh new trends start to emerge. For seasons, we’ve adorned our bodies in golden chains, chunky rings, and bracelets. Now it’s time to make way for the return of sleek women’s silver jewellery.
It’s not like silver jewellery ever disappeared, but it definitely fell out of favour for a time. Now, thanks to designers, content creators, and certain A-listers—Dua Lipa, for one—this minimalist metal is looking sleeker than ever. Giant cuffs and thick chokers were spotted on the runways at ALAÏA, Saint Laurent, and Loewe. Meanwhile the style set is mixing and layering new silver pieces with their gold adornments. There’s no question that this cooler hue adds a touch of sartorial elegance, but if you’re on the fence, mix it up.
You can find all manner of silver necklaces, rings, and bracelets on the high street, but I’ve perused some specialist jewellers to bring you something unique and possibly everlasting. Carolina De Barros is one such jewellery designer, bringing us the most gorgeous art-inspired creations, often made using wax casting. This process involves carving each piece by hand in wax before casting it in precious metals—all of which are ethically sourced and recycled.
Another label with strong sculptural elements is the incredible Completedworks. Founded in 2013, the collection is breathtaking and yet strikingly pared back. Similarly, Mara Paris, founded by Turkish-French architect Ayça Özbank Taskan, proclaims to be ‘sculptural art you can wear’ – and it truly is.
Chain bracelets are also looking strong, with numerous brands creating their own iterations. For timeless styles, look to Chobo, Asprey, and Tilly Sveaas. At the same time, hoop earrings remain a firm favourite among fashion folk. I’m more than obsessed with the picks at Missoma, Otiumberg and Alighiera.
Check out this sleek, modern silver jewellery selection. I’m totally on board. Are you?
