We fell for silver trousers, now it’s time to bring out our wild side and embrace the latest trend sweeping social media. Right now, it’s all about those leopard print trousers. So if you haven’t got a pair, now may be the time to snap them up before they sell out.

I was lucky enough to get the Ganni Betzy jeans for Christmas. I mean, if that’s not good gift buying, I don’t know what is. I have lived in them; worn them with sweatshirts, oversized hoodies, cream knitted jumpers, slouchy tees and, obviously, my go-to blazers. These animal print bottoms work like a neutral piece within my wardrobe and I guarantee they will work the same magic for you. Not only are they comfortable, they’re fun and statement-worthy. Plus, in my opinion, less out there than silver trousers.

Ganni was not alone at the forefront of this new sartorial obsession. Damson Madder, the female-led, London-based brand, created both the Dion jean and the Rafe pant in a soft leopard print cotton. Needless to say, both sold out almost immediately as influencers clamored to get their hands on a pair. The good news is, a new batch of the wide leg Rafe trouser is set to drop any day, so get ready to pounce.

We’ve seen them on the catwalks at Tom Ford and Rotate, but once spotted on our favourite stylish ones, there was no resisting. From baggy cuts to more fitted silhouettes, both trousers and leopard print jeans are what we’ll be wearing this season. For inspiration on just how to wear, we’ve picked out five of our faves to potentially emulate in designer, high street and boutique brands. Alternatively, wear them your way; be unique.
