I will find you

Netflix has already brought us two binge-worthy Harlan Coben thrillers in the form of Missing You and Fool Me Once, and now the streamer is debuting its next co-project with the author, I Will Find You. Starring Avatar’s Sam Worthington and Severance’s Britt Lower, it follows a man who was wrongly imprisoned for causing the death of his son when new evidence comes to light that could exonerate him- and prove his son may still be alive. Here’s everything you need to know:

What is I Will Find You about?

In I Will Find You, we’re introduced to David Burrows- played by Worthington- a father who has been living in a nightmare for years. When his son is found dead, and David himself is accused of murder, despite being innocent. He is tried, convicted and sentenced for a crime he didn’t commit, and forced to spend a life sentence in prison. Years later, he remains behind bars, blaming himself for the loss despite his innocence. It seems like hope for him is lost, but out of the blue, he is contacted by journalist Rachel Mills with information that not only could prove his innocence, but also indicates that his son may still be alive, after all.

Lower, who won an Emmy for her work on Severance, plays Rachel, David’s ex-sister-in-law, and once a respected reporter with a thriving career. Having been fired years ago and losing much of what she treasured in life, she discovers the news that David’s son may really be alive and believes it could get her career back. Both have lost nearly everything and decide to work together on finding the truth. As David embarks on attempting to clear his name and trying to find out if his son is truly still alive, he begins to question how much has been hidden from him. He hatches a plan to escape, but even if he can regain his freedom, can he trust anyone anymore?

Who else stars, and is there a release date?

Meanwhile, other notable cast members include Milo Ventimiglia (This Is Us), who plays Rachel’s ex-boyfriend, who remains her “close friend and confidant”. Chi McBride (Pushing Daisies) and Logan Browning (The Perfection) play FBI agents Max Williams and Sarah Greer, while Erin Richards (The Crown) plays the ex-wife of David, Cheryl, who has tried to rebuild her life. I Will Find You will release on June 18th 2026, and you can watch the recently released official trailer below.
