From the Vogue journalist who knows her way around a charity shop to the stylist responsible for making Love Island rethink their fast fashion sponsors, NYC thrifters to Salford-based vintage store owners, we’ve rounded up the best Instagram accounts to follow if you love pre-loved and vintage.

Amy Bannerman

When ITV’s Love Island decided to swap its historically fast fashion sponsors for pre-loved eBay gems, there was one woman responsible for it all. Amy Bannerman is a stylist and ex-Elle, InStyle and Cosmopolitan fashion journalist with a passion for vintage and an eagle eye for hard-to-find pre-loved pieces.

Amy does that high-low dressing with aplomb – think a sexy slip dress paired with an oversized ’80s bomber. Follow her for cute nostalgic childrenswear, a deep dive into retro denim, recreated runway looks she’s found on eBay, and a stellar vintage T-shirt collection.

Liv Purvis

Mixing sustainable brands with indie labels and one-off vintage gems, Liv Purvis has solidified herself as one of Britain’s most loved style bloggers.

Her aesthetic nods to the classic late ‘60s/early ‘70s vibe, from band tees paired with neckerchiefs to denim flares matched with boxy suede jackets. This is a woman not afraid of a pair of dungarees.
Follow her for a wealth of vintage boutique and online store recommendations, witty and often self-deprecating life musings, cute childrenswear finds like OshKosh dungas and great TV, film, music, and podcast suggestions.
