They say the way you spend New Year’s Eve is a sign of what is to come for the rest of the year, so with that in mind if you want a year of partying, drinking, good food and general all round fabulousness head to one of these amazing events.

New Year’s Eve at The Ritz London

We might be celebrating the New Year but over at The Palm Court guests will be doing a time warp back to the 1920’s for a themed evening complete with a four-course dinner, marching band, live music and dancing. Alternatively, if you are feeling flush, the black tie Gala Dinner, priced at £1,200 per person, will take place in The Ritz Restaurant with a six course dinner and Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque Champagne. The evening will be completed with a traditional fireworks display.

Dirty Martini’s ‘Distinctively Dirty’ New Year’s Eve Party!

Get down and dirty at any of the Dirty Martini venues across London as they host their ‘Distinctively Dirty’ New Year’s Eve Party. Dress to impress to secure hot kiss at midnight, the fun will kick off at 8pm with DJs on the decks until 3am. Plus, if you arrive before 9pm, enjoy happy hour and a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival. Tickets are available on the website.

Rivea at The Bulgari

If the days of drinking in the blurry New Year are behind you and you fancy something a little more refined then enjoy the exclusive menu at Rivea which will feature the very best festive, seasonal produce in a glamorous setting. The menu will offer dishes such as truffled potato veloute, homemade pumpkin gnocchi and Scottish lobster with braised Savoy cabbage and apples. For dessert guests can enjoy a chocolate praline from Rivea’s manufacture in Paris with unique wine pairings complement each dish.

NYE at Tuttons

For a more sophistication night, begin the evening off in Tutton’s beautiful street bar with a cocktail before heading over to the restaurant to enjoy a special three course New Year’s Eve menu and glass of Prosecco, it is NYE after all. Their set menu features tempting dishes such as Grilled Medallions of Beef Fillet and delicious Champagne & Strawberry Cheesecake – this means no hangover the next day but we can’t promise the same can be said about a food coma.

Hush Presents: Moulin Rouge

Leave your inhibitions at the door as Hush invites guests to indulge in the complete Moulin Rouge experience with a Parisian themed menu, casino with “Hush Money” and an iconic selection of Bohemian Days & Forgotten Pleasures cocktails. Remember to dress up in your finest can-can garb as the best dressed will receive a prize. There are three different ticket tiers to indulge in, all starting with an absinthe cocktail on arrival, can-can dancers in the cocktail bar from 9pm, the opportunity to try your hand on the casino tables with £10 Hush Money to spend and entry to the top floor nightclub (from 12am).

Kettner’s Black Tie Masquerade Ball

Don your mask and get lost in two floors of revelry which boasts three bars in the Grade ll building that is home to Kettner’s. Begin the festivities with a 3-course gourmet meal and performances during dinner, then the real celebrations begin with a Masquerade Ball. Make sure to embrace the renaissance era when dressing for the evening, no one will look twice if you don a ball gown. During the ball get some inspiration from the cabaret show and burlesque performances before indulging in some swing dance lessons while the live band and DJs play on until 3am.

Prohibition Party

NYE is the most acceptable time of the year to be drinking but it wasn’t always like that, embracing our drinking culture wholeheartedly with more feathers and tassels than you can shake a stick at will be the Prohibition Party. Set in a magnificent art deco ballroom in the West End, guests will be transported back to the glistening Jazz Age where card sharp cads tried their luck at the roulette table, and everyone quaffed on the free-flowing bootlegged booze.

Buddha Bar’s Venice Masquerade Party

With a cocktails on arrival, Champagne at midnight, a bespoke tasting menu with wine pairing, dance performances and DJ sets Buddha Bar is hosting our sort of party!  They’re adding a little mystery to the night with a Venice masquerade dress code – which could work either way when it comes to the midnight kiss….

New Year’s Eve at Sketch

Sketch are starting 2015 with a whole smorgasbord of events, from interactive artists and contemporary dancers to live music, DJS and dinner being served throughout. Choose from The Glade and Gallery where they’ll be serving the likes of lobster fricassee and duck pie followed by petit fours or The Library and Lecture Room which will be hosting a five-course dinner menu curated by head chef, Pierre Gagnaire!

Golden Mansion Party

With the location only announced 48 hours before the event, The Mansion is back with their New Year’s Eve party. Inspired by the Italian poet Valentina Abbagliantini who was said to have enchanted the Baron in a gold dress, the night will be filled with London’s most glamourous and stylish all adorned of course in gold – and there is no excuse as there will be makeovers happening throughout the night! There will also be DJs, tarot reading, fire mastery and of course debauchery!

Swan’s New Year’s Eve Spectacular

Spread across three floors, Swan at Shakespeare’s Globe is hosting a New Year’s Eve spectacular with a whole host of entertainment think Cabaret Rouge Showgirls, gypsy swing legends Trio Manouche and theatrical DJS The Roustabouts. They’ll be serving up a hot BBQ feast as well as having other food stations on each floor – and tickets include unlimited food, winning!

The Roof Garden’s Las  Vegas Party

Las Vegas sure knows how to party , but if it’s just a little too far to get to this year then head to Kensington Roof Gardens who are emulating the glitz and glamour of sin city with their New Year’s Eve party.  Start the night with cocktails on arrival, mini bottles of champagne and even a trip to the wedding chapel. After a night of dancing there will be a magical fireworks display at midnight and breakfast canapés served at 2am!

Beaufort House’s Great Gatsby Party

As the saying goes a little party never killed nobody and if anyone knew how to throw a party it was J. Gatsby. No surprise then that we often try to inspire to his lavish decadence, especially when it’s New Year’s Eve and Beaufort House are doing just that. Encouraging everyone to dig out their flapper dresses and trilby hats, they’ll be dinner and dancing 1920s style.

New Year in the City at Madison

With its new look restaurant, bar and rooftop terrace, Madison are channelling Manhattan-style glamour this New Year’s Eve with their Midnight Madness at Madison. A night of burlesque, revelry, DJs not to mention a string quartet! The party starts with a Prosecco reception and carries on to the early morning!

Aqua Shard and Aqua London

Where is the ultimate place to watch the fireworks this New Year’s Eve? From Aqua Shard on the 31st floor of the Shard of course! Throw in a sumptuous British menu, a swing band and dancing until the early morning and you have a heck of a party! Over at Aqua London you have a choice of a bar, two restaurants, and three roof terraces! Perhaps you want Spanish cuisine at aqua neuva, contemporary Japanese dishes at aqua Kyoto or just drinks at aqua spirit, whatever you choose there’ll be plenty of Champagne and with that you can’t go wrong!

Brown’s Hotel

Brown’s Hotel is welcoming in 2015 in a truly decadent manner. Guests can choose between a 7-course meal at Hix Mayfair followed by dancing in The English Tea Room with casino tables and croupiers, at midnight a traditional piper will bring in 2015. Or if you want something a little more casual then head to The Donovan Bar for cocktails and a sharing menu before taking to the casino!

The Savoy

To finish the year in style then head to The Savoy for their black tie New Year’s Eve party in the stunning Lancaster Ballroom. The night begins with a Louis Roederer Champagne and canapé reception before a five – course dinner and dancing. Or both the American Bar and Beaufort Bar will have cocktails and live entertainment!


Peyote are celebrating Vispera Año Nuevo with a special set menu. Served from 9pm the menu is paired with Ambar Tequila and features the liked of Rib eye with burnt aubergine salsa with Ambar Reposado and churros matched with Ambar Anejo. They also have a DJ playing from 9pm so once you’ve got the tequila in you can start dancing!

Gin and Jazz at InterContinental London Park Lane

The InterContinental London Park Lane are heading back to the era of gin and jazz with classic cocktails and performances from The Shirt Tail Stompers one of London’s best loved vintage jazz bands.  They also have a special menu with dishes such as potted foie gras served with a bourbon and orange glaze and celeriac and Mayfield cheese filled arancini on creamed Jerusalem artichokes.
