We’ve just welcomed our new Social Media Assistant, Beth Adams. Here, we catch up with Beth so you can get to know the latest member of The Handbook Team…
Where do you find trends and inspiration?
I find that TikTok is the best place to discover emerging trends, as it’s where they often originate. For inspiration, my go-to is Pinterest; it always provides me with the best ideas and visual concepts.
What’s your preferred social platform and why?
While I spend the most time on TikTok, I have a soft spot for Instagram’s aesthetic. I love the platform’s ability to create a visually stunning and curated feed. There’s nothing more satisfying than a clean, cohesive Instagram profile.

What’s a social media trend you’re expecting to be everywhere soon?
I believe vlogs are poised for a major comeback. People are growing tired of endless scrolling and are seeking out more engaging and insightful content from YouTubers and other creators.
What’s an account you’re obsessed with right now and why?
It might be an obvious choice, but I’m completely obsessed with Rhode Beauty. In a saturated market, they’ve managed to stand out with their exceptional products and marketing. Everything they do is chef’s kiss.
If you could create a new emoji that doesn’t exist yet, what would it be?
I’m still shocked that there isn’t an iced coffee emoji. It’s a daily essential for so many people, and it’s long overdue.
What’s the weirdest rabbit hole you’ve fallen down while scrolling lately?
I’ve become obsessed with a creator who travels around the UK searching for the best pork pies. It’s such a niche and random topic, but I can’t look away whenever his videos appear on my For You Page.

What’s the soundtrack to your workday?
Anything by Justin Bieber. His new album has been the perfect soundtrack to my summer #BelieberForever.
