This weekend, Tyla officially won Paris Fashion Week. The “CHANEL” singer graced the Jean-Paul Gaultier show on March 8th in an eye-catching black ensemble. The dress featured a corseted top, complete with a vintage cone bustier silhouette, while the bottom half transformed into a flowing, satin skirt which feel just below the knee.
Tyla’s stylist, Ron Hartleben, paired the striking look with a white lace choker, So Kate Louboutin pumps, a dainty gold anklet, minimal jewellery, and statement cobalt blue nails. She wore her hair in loose curls, while the makeup was also kept simple and stripped back.

While Madonna’s 1990 ‘Blond Ambition’ tour famously catapulted the cone bra into the fashion zeitgeist, the silhouette’s DNA actually dates back to Gaultier’s 1987 runway.
