The Future of Marketing: 2025’s Hottest Trends You Can’t Ignore

It is safe to say that brands as well as influencers are getting creative with recent marketing trends. While some strategies stick to familiar themes of florals and cafés, others are more rogue, making use of airport security bins and vending machines. Love them or hate them, these trends need to be on your radar if you want to stay ahead in the ever-evolving marketing world.
Café marketing
Many brands are embracing Parisian cafe culture by printing brand logos onto lattes and doing coffee shop themed photoshoots. Take Coach for example, who has hosted a number of pop-up coffee shops around the world giving consumers (and influencers) the perfect photo ops.
Influencers are not only taking full advantage of these brands’ coffee shop pop-ups but also using cafés for their own content. Jasmin Kaila and Jami Alix are only two of the many influencers who use coffee shops as the backdrop for aesthetic Instagram photos, holding lattes as props.
Photo booths
The vintage photo booth trend will come as a surprise to no one, but recently many brands have taken this strategy to the next level. Rare Beauty, YSL, Summer Fridays, Prada and more have all created their own branded photo booths at press events, giving guests a chic activity as well as promoting their new launch.
Arguably most well-known for his photo booth content is celebrity photographer Bryant Eslava, who captures famous friends in his vintage-style booth called “Booth by Bryant”. Nick Austin, Kylie Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Gigi Hadid, Lil Wayne and Jaden Smith are just some of the many faces that have appeared in the booth.
Red Cherry
From lipstick colours to funky interiors, Red Cherry has been everywhere. The vibrant colour is officially here to stay and has been picked up by many brands including Glossier to promote new lines and products.
The trend has made its way to influencers such as Chloe Lecareux and Gizem Garcia Airado as well. With everything from makeup looks with cherry cheeks and dark lips to monochrome maroon outfits, red cherry is the moment.
Vending Machines
One of the more interesting marketing strategies comes from the use of vending machines. What used to be the perfect place to grab some crisps on the go is now being used to sell handbags and beauty products from luxury brands such as Armani, Drunk Elephant and Kylie Cosmetics.
Influencers are using the unusual strategy as well, posing in front of the convenient grab-and-gos. Anna Dinh and Andy Yen have been seen posing at vending machines around the world.
Floral Marketing
As we ring in spring, floral marketing is on the rise. Dior, Prada and Jacquemas have all been creating beautiful flower shop inspired sets for new launches, placing blooming tulips into luxury purses and more.
Seen at some of our favourite flower markets across London, influencers are using bouquets as props for Instagram. Kerry-a Walker and Steph Kaluza have been seen with beautiful tulips at Columbia Road Market.
Aeroplane Marketing
As Grad Girl Marketing puts it, “billboards are out and airports are in”. Definitely one of the more out-there marketing strategies, brands such as Summer Fridays and BÉIS are using airport security bins as the backdrop for aesthetic product pictures.
Hannah Yoest, Natasha Ahmed and various influencers are also using the unique strategy. On their way to a holiday, they are snapping pictures of their airport security bins filled with their belongings of trainers, handbags and more.
Ski Season
Whether it is influencer trips to top ski destinations or snow product placements, brands are embracing the winter aesthetic. Rhode Beauty displayed their winter skincare collection in the fresh powder, cleverly advertising its ability for strong hydration during the cold winter months.
L’Oréal Paris has their very own ski club where your favourite influencers including Danielle Marcan and Ria Caeliya have been seen skiing down the mountain while applying L’Oréal products.
Messy Sinks
Moving away from the clean girl aesthetic and embracing the hot mess attitude, messy sinks are in. Benefit Cosmetics, Revolve Beauty and SOSHE Beauty have all shared messy sink areas on their socials, with their products scattered around the loo.
Alyssa Nicole Nelson has jumped in on this relatable trend, sharing her sink post-getting ready. Lola Young would love this messy trend too.
Sensory Marketing
Sensory marketing is an emerging trend that engages consumers through their five senses. By appealing to more than just visual advertising, brands including LANEIGE, Fenty Beauty, Miu Miu and Rhode Beauty are crafting immersive experiences through food and more.
SKIMS recently announced a drive-in pop-up with logo-printed pancakes and custom stationary, really embracing the sensory marketing technique.
