Straits Kitchen

What could possibly be better than a Champagne Sunday roast? A Champagne Sunday roast with a bottomless dessert buffet, that’s what. The set menu includes a half bottle of champagne per person and offers a choice of starters including shrimp tempura and clear chestnut broth with rice noodles. The main event is a selection of succulent Asian roasting meats served carved in front of your eyes – choose from salmon en croute, a stuffed whole turkey, roast Peking duck, crisp pork belly, or a vegan nut roast, alongside sides of glutinous rice with oriental sausage, Pak Choi, or red cabbage.

Rounding off the meal is arguably the best bit – a generous all you can eat dessert buffet with an extensive festive selection to choose from. Think panettone pudding, Christmas logs, and spicy clementine and chocolate shortbread that you can eat to your heart’s content.

Jones & Sons

Dalston’s Jones & Sons bottomless weekend brunch gets filled up in advance so make sure you book ahead, but there are some rules you should know in advance. Rule one, you can choose one drink to stick to for the duration of your brunch (so choose wisely), and rule two, you can only order your next round of food when everyone on the table has finished (so ditch the slow eaters).

Now that you’re up to speed on the rules, you can choose from the likes of bottomless Prosecco, Buck’s Fizz or G&Ts to drink, before tucking into unlimited food – the likes of wild mushrooms, truffle oil and poached egg on sourdough; vegan pancakes with coconut yoghurt and mixed berries; and classic brunch fare like avocado on toast, eggs florentine, and a full English.
