Word on the street is it might hit 20 degrees for the first time this year this weekend, and that’s cause for celebration. Whether that’s diving into some White Lotus vibes, exploring a view of Mexico at the National Gallery, or sipping on an Aperol Spritz, here are ten ways to enjoy this springtime weekend.

Check into The White Lotus Afternoon Tea

Sadly, we’ll all be checking out of The White Lotus after its finale airs this weekend, but to keep the vibes going this weekend, why not book into an Afternoon Tea inspired by the ultimate escapism?

Pavyllon (set within the Four Seasons, of course) brings a taste of Thailand, allowing you to tuck into savouries such as a delicate chicken dumpling with langoustine extraction and a crispy crab and green papaya tartlet, followed by indulgent sweet treats like mango, Thai basil, and lime éclair or a honey cheesecake with fresh pomelo salad.

View an exhibit from a Mexican master

We love a National Gallery exhibition, and this one is a little bit special – the first-ever UK showcase of Mexico’s much-loved artist, José María Velasco.

Working in Mexico in the 19th century, Velasco focused on studying local flora and the increasing presence of industrialisation. The exhibition features paintings of the sweeping landscapes of the Valley of Mexico, the home of modern-day Mexico City, with exquisite detail.
