Khaki Fashion Is Trending Right Now

For once, the hottest colours of the season happen to be some of the most classic. Timeless, chic and enduring, khaki is notably everywhere. For Autumn/Winter 24, expect not just military-inspired looks, but luxe, elevated pieces to take you through the colder months in unequivocal style…

Over the years, we’ve embraced utility fashion, from brass-buttoned blazers to cargo pants, all in varying hues of khaki. This season continues the theme, only the combat colour has had a glow-up. Now you can expect to see khaki outfits so luxe, you’ll wonder why you’ve never worn the colour before. From silk skirts in soft moss green to embellished tops and frilled blouses. Then, of course, there’s the influx of designer totes in stunning natural tones. All of which look incredibly chic.

From Fendi to Ferragamo, the catwalks confirmed khaki as one of the colours to wear this autumn/winter. We’ve since spotted numerous fashion folk adding it to their daily looks. Sézane is one of many labels leaning into the colour, specifically with their Clyde trench coat and Richie bomber jacket. Meanwhile, COS has embraced relaxed tailoring in dark greens, softened by the brand’s sought-after quilted bag in the most beautiful green.

Outerwear has long been a friend of khaki, and continues to be just that – we’re loving the & Other Stories long belted coat, not to mention the Allsaints lust-worthy leather jacket.
