The Ultimate Ski Wear Guide From High Street To Blow The Budget

Whether you’re an all-the-gear-no-idea kind of gal or are well-versed in the runs of everywhere from Aspen to Meribel, ensure your next alpine adventure is as chic as can be with our edit of the best skiwear. We’ve done the hard work for you to find the very best that is technical, practical and seriously stylish. Expect everything from affordable high street options (you’d never know!) to those justifiable, blow-the-budget designer pieces.
The best high street skiwear
There are so many options to hit the slopes in style right now, and the best part? It doesn’t have to cost a fortune – other than the actual holiday, of course. Plenty of high street brands – including H&M, Oysho, and Topshop – have launched their own skiwear collections, offering brilliant, trend-led designs combined with practical technology guaranteed to keep you warm and dry on the powder.
We’ve also unearthed some brilliant lesser-known gems. The brand My Sunday Ski sits on the pricier end of the high street but is significantly more affordable than the big designer names. We’re currently loving their Apricity Ski Jacket – a cool navy/white star print with an on-trend oversized silhouette, as well as the Zenith Hard Shell Jacket. It’s giving major ’90s retro sports vibes.
And for those whose heart is set on a pair of Moon Boots to up your après ski, but don’t want to spend quite so much, the Canadian brand Pajar offers a great, more affordable alternative.

The best designer skiwear
For us, designer skiwear is just as much about the flawless fit as it is the high-tech performance value – and our edit has both in bucketloads. While the high street is doing a stellar job right now, most of those pieces feel quite relaxed and sporty. The designers, on the other hand, do upmarket Aspen-girl chic with aplomb.
First up, Cordova. Founded by Jane and Cody Seim in Sun Valley, Idaho, their collection features tailored ski pieces with a genuine nod to the old glamour of the slopes. Think form-fitting one-pieces, cinched-in waist puffers, and luxe metal finishes.
If you’re keen to bring a more retro, fun feel to your alpine wardrobe, but still want a heady dose of glam, check out Free People’s own range – we particularly love their Jacquard print base layers. Meanwhile, Perfect Moment remains the cool girl’s skiwear brand of choice. We love everything from their chocolate brown quilted jacket to the statement green and white geometric print.
As for accessories, we are loving a pop of red right now. Look for We Norwegians’ charming embroidery-trimmed balaclava (it’s giving vintage Christmas card vibes) and Inuikii’s scene-stealing scarlet snow boots.
