She’s also become a total TikTok sensation, sharing amazing makeup tips and championing beauty at any age. We’re totally here for it!
What’s your first beauty memory?
I was fascinated with makeup from a young age. In high school, my mum took me to a makeup store to learn how to apply makeup by getting my makeup done. I was so put off by how terrible I looked; I was transformed completely into a face I did not recognise. I went home, washed it off, looked in the mirror, and realised I looked better and more like myself without it. This triggered my fascination with less-is-more makeup and the value of using products that keep you looking like you.
What beauty advice would you give your twenty-year-old self?
Stop comparing yourself or trying to look like everyone else. Stop nit-picking through all the little things you don’t like about your appearance and focus on what you do like. Your individuality is your power – embrace it and use it to your advantage.
What beauty products do you repeatedly use?
Miracle Balm is my forever favourite. I stumbled upon the formula by mistake when we first made it, and now I can’t imagine going anywhere without it. My skin is dry, and I’m a very simple person who likes to look and feel better with minimal effort. Miracle Balm is ideal for people like me.

Where, what or who gives you inspiration for developing your products?
I have had the pleasure of working with some remarkably beautiful women who truly don’t need makeup to look better. I ask myself, “what little thing can I add to play up what they already have going for them?” This is how I approach the entire Jones Road Beauty line – because I think this is how all women should approach their own beauty.
Tell us where you shop for special and unique beauty finds.
I love exploring drugstores in foreign countries – I can spend hours browsing the aisles. In London, it’s all about Boots for me. In Paris, I love the little pharmacies, and in Asia, I go crazy even though I often have no idea what I’m buying. A word of caution – I sometimes shop on Instagram, but things rarely meet my expectations.
What are your go-to skin summer saviours?
The key to healthy skin in the summer is to keep it clean and keep your makeup routine lightweight. I use a double cleanse with micellar water and The Cleansing Stick because I travel often and it’s portable. I use The Oil Free Moisturizer as well because it’s a lightweight formula that feels great in the summer. These products are bundled in The Skincare Travel Kit that have just launched.
What are your makeup bag heroes?
Jones Road Miracle Balm, mascara, and face pencils. These three products are generally the base for all my looks.
Have you got a signature scent?
My favourite scent is Fragrance in Shower by Jones Road. It’s clean, fresh, light, and truly feels like I just stepped out of a shower. I love it so much that I had it made as a soap bar when we first launched the scent – mainly so that I could have a huge personal stock.
What’s the product every party girl needs in her clutch bag?
Something for a fun lip. Whether you love lipstick, a glossy finish, a matte lip pencil, just make sure you have something you love for touch-ups throughout the night.
Any beauty golden rules?
Moisture, moisture, moisture. Don’t use products that are drying – they’ll age you and make your skin look worse.
What products are must-have summer heroes for everyday makeup?

For makeup, it’s Miracle Balm and, for skincare, it’s The Oil Stick because it’s so versatile and can be used for instant moisture anywhere.
Top makeup tip for keeping makeup looking fresh in the warmer months?
Shine control is important in the warmer months because of time spent in the sun. After applying your complexion products, make sure to add a dusting of The Tinted Face Powder anywhere you run oily/shiny. If you need more, add powder bronzer or powder blush as well.
How do you navigate finding the perfect nude lip for your skin tone?
The ideal nude lip shade is the one that matches your lip tone exactly. It’s not based on your skin tone.
How do you make the most out of a palette, so no colour goes unused?
First, buy a palette with neutral shades rather than trendy or whimsical colours. Make sure it includes light, medium, and dark shades so you can layer all three.
What is your in-flight travel bag?
Planes are always so dry, so I carry multiple forms of moisture with me. I typically take The Oil Stick, a Mini Miracle Balm, The Lippie Stick in Original, and sometimes The Hippie Stick depending on how much room I have in my carry on.
Finally, you’re no stranger to London, where do you stay when you visit?
My favourite hotel in London is Claridge’s. We stay there nine times out of ten because the rooms and experience are always impeccable. However, it’s been getting harder to get a room there lately, so my family and I have been taking the opportunity to explore other hotels. We’ve fallen in love with their sister hotel, The Berkeley—it’s modern and bright. Plus, the staff and food are excellent, and the gym and pool are fantastic.
And your favourite London restaurant?
My favourite restaurant in London is Scott’s in Mayfair. I love the fresh, classic food and the atmosphere. I don’t ever look at the menu, it’s always a martini and Dover Sole.
