Everyone’s Favourite Indian Restaurant Dishoom Heads To Canary Wharf
Famed for its breakfast naan rolls, tender chicken tikka and industrial-esque interiors, Dishoom is set to open its ninth restaurant in Canary Wharf this month.
Officially opening its doors on Wednesday 30th November, bookings for Dishoom Canary Wharf have opened, with the festive season already filling up fast. Don’t worry though, as, in true Dishoom style, there’ll be plenty of walk-in availability too.
Every Dishoom restaurant is inspired by some scene from history, and this riverside outpost is set to be no different. This new restaurant takes influences from the 1970s Bombay financial scene and all of its (clean and shady) characters. It’s a time when big money was made (and often lost), plots were uncovered, and dreams were dreamed (and broken), so expect plenty of glitz and glamour as this metropolitan scene is brought to life through the 350-cover restaurant interiors.
On the food front, expect an array of new dishes from their Chef-wallas and tempting drinks from their Daru-wallas, as well as some old-time menu favourites too.
There will be a soft launch in the lead-up to its official opening. Running from Tuesday 15th November until Tuesday 29th November, you’ll be able to enjoy 50% off food across breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now, who’s for a round of bacon naan rolls?
