Let’s face it: in summer, it is often easier to find great deals on fashion than in winter. However, how good does it look? Is the quality up to par? Debatable. Thankfully, we’ve been graced with one stellar high street. Undoubtedly, the likes of Zara have upped their prices over the years, but there are still outstandingly chic pieces to be found scraping under that £50 marker. From gingham tops to bermuda shorts, tailoring to beachwear, I’ve discovered the affordable fashion I’d welcome into my warm weather wardrobe.
It’s no secret that my wardrobe is bursting with pieces from Mango, & Other Stories, Arket and Cos. These are brands that get it right time and time again. So you see, finding affordable fashion under £50 that looks chic and expensive is possible. Reserved is a relatively new addition to my must-visit fashion stores, but it’s so good. Another fashion label, also doing its bit for affordability, not to mention sustainability, is Nobody’s Child. Its summer collection is totally gorgeous, featuring fruit-emblazoned shorts, shirred dresses and cute tops. I love it all.
Now is also the time to find the perfect summer dress. With so many stores offering selections well over £100, I’m overjoyed to say M&S, Zara, and Mango have several great options under £50. Get yourself online and get that summer wardrobe sorted pronto.
