Few celebrities make headlines for their off-duty outfits as much as Jennifer Lawrence. How does she do it? The secret is understanding the pieces she keeps coming back to. Here Kitty, our Social Media Director, breaks down her style and wardrobe essentials.
Start with wide-leg trousers. Whether tailored or more relaxed, they’re a key part of her off-duty uniform. Wear them with an oversized T-shirt or a simple knit and finish with trainers for that effortless feel.
The oversized tee. Jennifer is a master of making the most basic pieces look great, often pairing loose-fitting T-shirts with oversized trousers, relaxed denim or a more feminine skirt.
For those moments you want to look a little more polished, turn to a silk skirt. The J.Law trick is to avoid making it feel too dressy, throw on a sweatshirt, oversized jacket or casual knit.
The finishing touches are just as important. A baseball cap, sunglasses, and a pair of Salomons can instantly transform a simple outfit into Jennifer’s signature off-duty look.
