If glowing, red carpet–ready skin is the brief, Keren Bartov is the name on everyone’s lips. That’s why a slew of A-listers from this year’s Met Gala – including Hailey Bieber, Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian – turned to Bartov. The in-demand facialist behind some of the world’s most flawless complexions has become a go-to for celebrities who need results, fast. We caught up with her to talk skin secrets, star-studded prep, and how she keeps faces camera-ready…

Red carpet & celebrity prep

Red carpet ready: what’s your go-to prep for clients before a big event?

A glow treatment, usually two to three days before the event, including gentle cleansing, RF, lifting and tightening technologies like the Onda Pro, and deep hydration infusions into the skin.

What’s the one treatment or trick you rely on to make skin look instantly flawless under cameras?

There are no shortcuts when it comes to skin. The reason celebrity skin looks flawless on the red carpet is consistency. They follow a structured routine with treatments every month or six weeks, combined with a personalised home routine tailored to their skin.

Working with some of the most famous faces, what’s the biggest beauty secret you’ve learned?

Less is more when the skin is truly healthy.

Are celebrities actually more low-maintenance than we think?

They are simply very consistent, and that’s the real secret.

And lastly, what’s the best beauty advice you’ve ever given (or received)?

Take care of your skin before you try to cover it.

Beauty & skincare

Your skincare routine in three words?

Consistency, precision, results.

First thing you do for your skin every morning?

Gentle cleansing and hydration to rebalance the skin.

The one skincare mistake you see all the time?

People don’t listen to their skin. They follow social media trends and buy products that aren’t right for them, and I’ve seen a lot of damage because of that.

Glow or glass skin—which are you backing right now?

Glow. Healthy skin always looks better than overdone skin.

What treatment should everyone try at least once?

A personalised facial that combines advanced technologies.

Wellness & lifestyle

What’s your non-negotiable daily ritual?

Morning and night I start with gentle cleansing using a cleanser and micellar water, and in the evening I remove everything properly with micellar water.

In the morning, I use Booster Peel & Glow Serum, £170, followed by serums with peptides and fatty acids, and finish with a moisturiser with active ingredients. At night, I skip the Peel & Glow and apply my Vitamin A cream.

How do you reset when everything feels a bit off?

I make sure to start every day with an hour to myself. It’s not meditation, but time to reflect, process, and plan the day ahead.

The wellness habit that actually makes a visible difference?

Consistency, always. And drinking a lot of water. It sounds simple, but it really works.

What do you do when your own skin misbehaves?

Skin is constantly changing. What works today might not work in a couple of months, so it’s important to keep reassessing and adjusting your routine based on where your skin is.

Sleep, water, or skincare – which matters most?

You need all three, but skincare is what I can control daily.
