Why: If you’re still feeling a little blue in January then here is some news to cheer you up. Now you have to choose whether to be a saint or sinner and whether you’re actually sinning by having a burger (clue: you’re not).

Why: To say goodbye to January, STK London, will be hosting a wild retox brunch. We’re talking DJs, plenty of Prosecco and performances from burlesque queen Miss Polly Rae. To eat you’ll find American style pancakes, steak duck egg and chips and if you’re into eggs then there the is the eggy platter: duck scotch egg, truffled scrambled egg, eggs Benedict and baguette soldiers. And for the first time, STK London will be offering bottomless Prosecco, because that’s the sort of farewell they want to give to January.

What: Covert Cocktails
Why: Just as the speakeasies went against the rules in during the prohibition, Heliot Steak House is going against the Dry January rules, with their new covert cocktail menu. Served in vintage tea pots the warming cocktails include hot buttered rum and a Riesling hot toddy, pair them with a chocolate and orange ganache, a baked Alaska or a gin tarte.

What: Not So Dry January
Why: For those in the not so dry January, then head to the Punch Room at The London EDITION where they have just launched The Perfect Mix Series. They’ve teamed up with some of their favourite drinkers whose drink of choice and accompanying playlist will be highlighted on the menu. At the moment you’ll find the choice of Dylan Jones’ Editor-in-chief of GQ, a Negroni, to sip whilst listening to the likes of Spanish virtuoso Vicente Amigo.
