A Naughty Treat For Charity
Pophams Bakery has teamed up with #CookForSyria to launch a limited edition #BakeForSyria pastry with a Syrian inspired twist. This croissant, is so much more than a croissant; we all love croissants as a rule but this collaboration has produced a creation truly dribble-worthy. The pastry has been transformed into something other, something better. It has a baklava filling, a crunchy nutty almond and walnut mix with pistachio paste, and rose water, all wrapped up in layers of fluffy, buttery, pastry goodness. This may sound very naughty, but you can always go to the gym before (or after) and feel comforted in the knowledge that the £3.20 you spend on this delicacy will be going to support the Unicef’s Syrian Relief fund.

In the age of us millennial’s I think it’s fair to say that come Wednesday, it’s just a slippery slope towards the weekend. Which means that Thursday is the new Friday. Which also means that your weekend should begin at the K West Hotel in Shepherds Bush. The luxury hotel has created its very own, and very new, event, the first of which is taking place today! K West Live; a celebration of new musical talent, with acts such as Rothwell, Richard Maule and Sen3 set to headline tonight’s show. Another Space
Up for a challenge?
Okay, everything previously has been quite food-focused. Just in case you are feeling too much of a couch potato to warrant more indulgence, how about you get involved in a fitness challenge? It’s called the ‘7 in 7 Challenge’ courtesy of Another Space. The premise being you have to complete 7 fitness classes in 7 days. You can be as flexible as you like as to what fitness class you take, so long as you complete the challenge, available at their Covent Garden and Bank gyms. Come the 31st March you will no longer be able to take part so this weekend could be your chance to get involved. It’ll be the best £77 you spend all month!
