Where To Say ‘Cheers’ This International Beer Day

Where To Say ‘Cheers’ This International Beer Day

Happy International Beer Day! The great thing about International Beer Day is that you almost certainly had no idea it was coming, so you’ve just done the beer equivalent of waking up on Christmas Day. So consider this your Beermas stocking, and here are your gifts: fun beer filled things to do…

Roast

London Bridge (0.2 miles)

What: The ROASTest with the Mostest

Why: Roast not only totally nails the Sunday roast, the London Bridge restaurant now does so with beer! For a limited time only, they’ll be pairing beers with a special six course menu devised by Head Chef Stuart Cauldwell. Each dish is developed to complement a specific local beer to match the flavours and textures on the plate.

Camden Town Brewery Strawberry Hells

Why: Have you tried strawberry beer? Of course you haven’t, nobody has, until now. Camden Town Brewery have a new tipple and it’s perfect for the summer. Launched in time for International Beer Day, ‘Strawberry Hells Forever’ is a beer that combines freshly picked strawberries with Camden’s famous Hells lager. The summer beer comes in a specially designed 330ml can, illustrated by Alice Bowser and, seemingly at odds with the name, the drink is ‘Here for a good time, not a long time’, so get it while you can.

Where: Available from Sainsburys

Tobacco Dock

The festival returns with their biggest celebration yet, with over 65 breweries from around the world taking part all at the festival’s new home in Wapping’s Tobacco Dock. Taking place over three days, look forward to a combination of fantastic beers, big hitters from the London restaurant scene and a stellar line-up of DJs.
