The Must-See Exhibition: Yinka Ilori at the Design Museum
Looking for the next big colour bursting exhibition to visit? The Design Museum has just the remedy, with their brand new exhibition from London-based artist/designer Yinka Ilori.
Yinka’s work has been circulating across the world over the last few years, from the pop-up Laundrette of Dreams from the Lego Group to London Design Festival takeover and V&A Dundee’s ‘Listening to Joy’ exhibit. Now his work is set to land at the Design Museum for a season of colourful patterns, graphics and playful experiences.
The display will feature his signature aesthetic, inspired by African fabrics from his childhood. The result will see bold, multi-coloured geometric patterns come to life featuring Nigerian design while nodding to British postmodernism.

The Film We’re Excited For: Don’t worry Darling
The hotly anticipated Don’t Worry Darling starring Harry Styles and Florence Pugh finally lands on the big screen this month.
Already causing a stir for its mind-boggling trailer, the narrative, directed by Olivia Wilde, follows Alice (Pugh) and Jack (Styles), a married couple who live in the ‘utopian’ community of Victory. From the outset it’s clear to see something isn’t quite right, with every aspect of their life of luxury ultimately controlled by the secret company Jack works for.
Expect a spiral of uncontrollable events to follow questioning if this idealised version of life is all it’s cracked up to be.
