If your Christmas and NYE consisted of lots of delicious food and chilling on the sofa (not that there’s anything wrong with that), but not a lot of exercise, let us kickstart your fitness journey for 2026. These seriously stylish, energy-inducing athleisure brands are smashing with bold colourways, interesting design, performance to fit and are bound to give you the confidence boost and motivation you need to get back at it, whether Pilates is your safe space or you’re loyal to pounding the pavements.

1. Adanola

This brand needs little introduction; chances are you’ll have seen many a matcha-holding girl wearing one of their iconic slogan sweats on Instagram or IRL.

Whilst there has been a lot of noise around the name (no thanks to featuring a certain Kendall Jenner fronting one of their 2025 campaigns), the pieces do live up to the hype.

2. Girlfriend Collective

This ethically-made brand not only looks good but does good too. Using recycled materials, including plastic bottles and fishing nets to craft the range, Girlfriend Collective helps divert waste from landfills and supports an ethical work environment for the people who make their clothes.

Each item, available in sizes from XXS-6XL, feels like a second skin and supports in all the right places (tried and tested). We love their colourways too, which range from low-key black, grey and white to rich autumnal shades – we love the forest green.

3. Live The Process

From NYC comes Live The Process, an activewear brand that fuses high-performance with elegant, fashion-inspired pieces.

Founded by Robyn Berkley in 2013, the designer saw a gap in the market for sportswear that balanced sustainability with aesthetic appeal.

Check them out for unique details like flared stretch pants, cool colour-blocking bodysuits, and cut-outs that feel a little bit sexy.

4. FP Movement by Free People

Track, field, yoga studio or weights class has never looked so good since we discovered FP Movement. The active, lounge and ski wear line comes from everyone’s favourite laid-back LA-style brand, Free People, bringing a cool girl aesthetic to your workout wardrobe.

Shop everything from cool one-pieces that work just as well for running errands as actual running; contemporary sports bras in cool shapes and colourways; and retro-inspired jackets to keep you warm pre- and post-workout and on the daily commute.

5. Varley

Varley is a performance-meets-fashion brand by husband and wife duo Lara and Ben Mead. Drawing inspiration from both London and Los Angeles, the collection comprises highly technical and original designs for confident, modern women on the go.

These really are pieces that bridge the gap between workout wear and the everyday – we’d quite happily wear their flattering hoodies and high-performance leopard print leggings in the Pilates studio, to work from home, and do the school run.

6. F&F

While you might be familiar with F&F’s regular range, did you know it also does activewear? What’s more, the pieces are equal parts chic and affordable. From flared leggings and minimalist sports bras to stylish jackets, this has all your workout basics covered and more.

Plus, get 25% off activewear pieces by using your Clubcard at the checkout – but be quick, this promo ends 14th January, 2026.

This affordable brand overdelivers on chic athleisure staples.

7. Sporty & Rich

Launched in 2019, Sporty & Rich quickly became a hit amongst Instagram’s fash-pack, with its collection of leisurewear selling out fast thanks to catchy mottos and fashion-thinking designs.

Fast-forward to 2024, the brand has introduced in-demand activewear from tennis skirts to sports bras and collaborated with a whole host of other names, from Adidas Originals to Lacoste, the New York Yankees to The Ritz.

The varsity-style, preppy sweaters and sports caps are our favourite – very much giving ’90 Princess Di, and if you like a loose-fit tee when you’re working out, their long-line hems are such a win worn over leggings.

8. Tala

From their best-selling flared leggings to their cute, cropped hoodies, Tala is the brand Insta girlies go wild for. Their pieces are classic and pared back, but somehow instantly recognisable.

Whilst the fits are so comfortable you will want to wear them long after your gym session, plus, the fabrics retain their shape and wash so well – perfect if you’re super active.

Our pick for 2026? Any piece in the rich Americano hue that runs across the new collection.

9. Sunday Minute

Sunday Minute is a new name we’re adding to our radar, with luxe yet sporty designs at an affordable price point – three big ticks for us.

“Designed to blend style, comfort, and functionality,” the brand has a decidedly varsity aesthetic to it, making it ideal for yoga-to-brunch outings.

Our top picks are the statement totes and caps, which can be paired with everyday outfits beyond workout gear for a more casual finish. Think of it as a more affordable Sporty & Rich, ironically.
