Beach Box Spa, Brighton
If you’re looking for a quick getaway from the big smoke, Brighton’s Beach Box Spa offers you a little slice of sauna-filled paradise by the sea.
Open all year round, there are three wood-fired saunas to choose from depending on what you’re after. Lotta – meaning free spirit – is the largest of the three, made with cedar to offer an aromatic experience. The ‘Leil Saun’ offers up a gentle heat but boasts more intensity, with a flickering stove visible inside the sauna. The newest of the trio is Lämpö made from a converted horsebox and boasts a choice of high and low aspen benches.
You can level up your experience by choosing from an array of treatments, from aromatherapy oils to hair masks. Plus, no sauna experience here is complete without a dip in the icy plunge pool or chilled steam tub.
