The Biltmore Mayfair

Standing proudly on Grosvenor Square, The Biltmore Mayfair is more than a five-star hotel, it is a living piece of London history seamlessly blending centuries-old heritage with contemporary sophistication. Originally a private residence dating back to the XVIII century, the building’s storied past is matched only by its modern-day prestige. Perfectly positioned in the heart of Mayfair, the hotel offers guests unrivalled access to London’s most exclusive shopping, dining, and cultural landmarks. Behind its Grade II-listed façade, 250 exquisitely appointed rooms, 49-curated suites, and 8 signature suites – including the Biltmore Penthouse with a view of the London skyline- offer an elevated residential experience, many with sweeping views over Grosvenor Square. Designed with generous proportions, high ceilings, and subtle nods to its aristocratic past, each space invites guests to feel not like visitors, but true Mayfair residents.

Two Experiences To Try

The Afternoon Tea and all-day indulgence

The Foliage Lounge at The Biltmore Mayfair is a haven of understated elegance, perfect for those seeking a moment of pause in the heart of Mayfair. Afternoon Tea here is a refined ritual – a balance of delicate savouries, freshly baked scones, and exquisite pastries, all served with a choice of fine teas or a glass of champagne for an extra touch of indulgence. The atmosphere is relaxed yet luxurious, making it just as suited to celebrations as to quiet afternoons.

Beyond the timeless tradition of the Afternoon Tea, the lounge is also an inviting all-day destination. From 10am to 10pm, guests can enjoy a changing daily selection of handmade cakes alongside expertly prepared coffees and hot drinks – ideal for a mid-morning treat, an afternoon pick-me-up, or an elegant end to the evening.

Signature Cocktails & Evenings at The Pine Bar
If the afternoon tea is about elegance and tradition, The Pine Bar brings the evening to life with bold creativity, luxurious detail, and distinctive cocktails. Nestled within the hotel and glowing in the soft light of Mayfair’s twilight, The Pine Bar is where craftsmanship, atmosphere, and flavour converge.

The new ‘Synthèse’ signature cocktails menu is its latest masterpiece: four sections inspired by the elements (Fire, Earth, Water, Air), each drink designed to evoke a mood as much as a taste. Whether you’re drawn to the smouldering spice of “Fireborn”, the earthy complexity of “The Artisan”, or the ethereal freshness of something from the Air section, there’s a sense that each concoction has been curated with care.
You’ll also find classics done very well, paired with inventive snacks and canapés if you want something small with your drink. It’s perfect for a pre-dinner aperitif, a casual nightcap, or a social evening with friends.
