Dining at The Montague on the Gardens:
The Blue Door Bistro provides a welcoming and informal bistro-style setting, with a superb à la carte menu to match. Light and airy at lunchtime, warm and cosy by evening, the room is decorated on three sides with a panoramic view of London circa 1849. Together with the rich mahogany panelled walls, effective use of mirrored glass, and contemporary wrought iron wall lights, an ambience rooted in the hotel’s location is beautifully achieved. There’s nowhere better to savour a delicious traditional Afternoon Tea than The Montague, overlooking peaceful gardens in the heart of London or in their beautiful Leopard Bar. Their The Afternoon Tea includes a scrumptious selection of warmly baked plain and raisin scones, delicious cakes, and freshly hand-cut sandwiches including signature Smoked Salmon with Horseradish Sauce, Free-Range Corn-Fed Chicken with Celery And Mayonnaise and Cucumber and Cream Cheese Children are very much well at The Montague and the team offer a Little Prince and Princess Tea for those under 12 years.
On Saturdays and Sundays enjoy The Ultimate Bottomless Afternoon Tea at The Montague. Their refined Afternoon Tea experience with a twist – enjoy 90 minutes of unlimited Lanson Champagne and food! With a guaranteed table on the outdoor terrace, you will dine overlooking the the stunning private Bedford Estate.
The Leopard Bar:

The Beach Bar
The award-winning Beach Bar at The Montague on the Gardens is an unforgettable summer party venue. Complete with real sand, a beach-hut style thatched roof, delicious cocktails, palm trees, and a backdrop of a beautiful beach, you’ll feel like you’re basking in the Bahamas rather than in the heart of Central London.
To get you in the summertime spirit the chef serves a delicious range of BBQ options including meat, fish, and vegetarian/vegan dishes followed by a tasty line-up of tempting desserts including assorted ice creams in cones. Cocktails are served in coconuts on arrival, alongside a superb selection of wine, beers, and spirits. Guests also have the added option of unlimited drinks offers.
The Montague’s flexible spaces can accommodate parties of up to 160 guests and the Great Russell Suite is available afterwards for DJ and dancing into the night, complete with a built-in dance floor and private bar

The Ski Lodge – open November 2023 – January 2024:
The Wood Deck is transformed into a magical ski lodge with pine trees, falling snow, reindeer, snowmen, ski racks, piste maps, and strings of fairy lights and lanterns. The centrepiece is a bar serving a selection of beverages, including Schnapps and flavoured vodkas. To help combat the cold and lightly drifting snowflakes, guests can enjoy our delicious candied pecans, mulled wine, hot spiced cider, mugs of steaming hot chocolate cocktails, and big woolly rugs, which will all help to keep you lovely and snug during the long winter nights.
Please note: The Ski Lodge is for exclusive hire or for hotel residents only. We unfortunately cannot take reservations for individual guests unless you are a hotel resident. Public walk-ins may be available on the day but are subject to availability.

Weddings at the Montague on the Gardens
The Montague on the Gardens are licensed to hold wedding ceremonies and have three exceptional rooms for you to choose from. The large Great Russell Suite features a private bar and access outside to the wood deck, for more intimate affairs, the Woburn Suite and The Conservatory are ideal.
If you desire an al fresco setting you can exclusively book the outdoor areas of the hotel, comprising the Wood Deck and Garden Terrace, overlooking the private gardens of the Bedford Estate.
If you wish to hold your ceremony at the hotel you will be required to contact the Superintendent Registrar at Camden Council to confirm they are able to attend and conduct the ceremony on your chosen date.
Nearby churches include St George’s Church and St-Giles-in-the-Fields.
