London’s Prettiest Floral Restaurants & Cafes

From flower-filled walls to wisteria-covered exteriors, London isn’t short of floral restaurants and cafes that thrive on Instagram. Whether you’re after flower-drenched, pastel pink interiors or an outdoor terrace oasis, we’ve rounded London’s very best floral paradises for you to explore. Here are a few of our favourites…
Idalia at Pillar Hall

Set within the grand Pillar Hall, Idalia is one of West London’s most transportive new openings. Garden-inspired interiors by Robert Angell Design soften the historic space with layered greenery and natural textures, creating a dining room that feels quietly floral rather than overtly decorative. Light-filled and leafy by day, it shifts into something more atmospheric come evening.
Idalia is the new kid on the block, housed within a seriously impressive Grade II* listed hall. It’s also the site of Vivienne Westwood’s very first catwalk show – and that sense of bold, directional design still runs through the space today.

At 144 On The Hill, spring arrives in a wash of pink. The restaurant is dressed in cascading blossoms that bring a soft, romantic energy to the space, making it one of Richmond’s prettiest seasonal spots. It’s classic, charming and unmistakably floral — ideal for long lunches with a view.

The Garden Terrace at The Montague on the Gardens

Tucked away in Bloomsbury, The Garden Terrace at The Montague is a true hidden gem. Overlooking Bedford Gardens, the space is surrounded by seasonal blooms, creating a peaceful, storybook setting for afternoon tea, lunch or dinner. It’s a rare spot that feels completely removed from the city — and all the better for it.

14 Stories
Spring arrives high above the city at 14 Stories, where blossoms frame the entrance and set the tone for the season. Inside, greenery climbs and spills throughout the space, while a seasonal spritz menu keeps things fresh. It’s theatrical, elevated and made for those chasing skyline views with their florals.

Florattica
Fancy visiting the largest floral installation in the UK? Of course, you do… Rooftop haven, Florattica, is home to a breathtaking dried floral arrangement designed by Brighton-based floral design studio, PHOHM.

ROKA Charlotte Street

ROKA Charlotte Street has become renowned for its overtly pink cherry blossom display nestled downstairs in the underground cocktail bar, Shochu. Upon arrival expect a whole lot of pink action, Japanese whisky a’plenty and traditional robatayaki cuisine. Delicious.

Sushisamba Covent Garden

More of a jungle than a floral haven, but Sushisamba’s landmark restaurant in Covent Garden is breathtaking. As soon as you step inside, you’ll feel as though you’ve been transported to a rainforest jungle rather than being tucked in the centre of London.
The restaurant menu combines Peruvian, Brazilian and Japanese flavours in a rather unusual way, but the result is effortless. We can’t wait to return to this little jungle haven.
Sushisamba Covent Garden is one of my favourite spots to go to when the weather warms up, it feels like a mini oasis in the heart of the city.
