20 London Pop-Ups To Visit In June

Somehow we’ve found ourselves already at the beginning of June and there’s lots to do, whether you’re celebrating Pride, looking for new restaurants to visit or you’re on the hunt for a new summer wardrobe.
From London’s favourite food festival just around the corner, to the launch of an art gallery that champions female, minority and LGBTQ artists, we’ve rounded some great London pop-ups to visit in June.
1. The Royal Ascot pop-up at The Dorchester
A limited run pop-up at The Grill by Tom Booton, this one is all about getting a taste of Royal Ascot before the big event. With a four-course menu that showcases the best of seasonal British ingredients, the pop-up is a glimpse of what will be enjoyed at the Royal Enclosure at this year’s Royal Ascot. The dining experience includes mackerel tacos, lamb belly skewers with green peppercorn, cured salmon, beef fillets and a raspberries and cream soft serve with mint and sprinkles.

2. YSSO’s summer pop-ups
If you’re looking for some summer jewellery, homeware and accessories, this is the perfect spot to head to this month to shop. Showcasing a range of female-led brands, the collection includes brands like Domenica Marland that offers affordable and decorative art and homeware, Vernisse, that has sustainable Italian womenswear, Crini and Sophia, offering unique Greek homeware and Sophie and Lucie, a Spanish fashion brand offering some great summery tops and dresses.

3. Wine dinners at Swan London
If you love a good wine pairing, head over to the Swan London on the 15th and 23rd of June, to enjoy the best of Britain’s produce on your plate and in your glass. There are two wine dinners on the cards this month, with Rathfinny on the 18th June, followed by Gusbourne on 19th which will take place at Swan’s lovely Bull Room, a private dining table for upto 16 guests which has glorious views of Shakespeare’s Globe and the Thames.

4. Loewe and On at Selfridges
This Selfridges pop-up brings together two iconic brands, Loewe and On, with a ready-to-wear collection of activewear, statement outerwear and cushioned footwear for men and women. Combining Loewe aesthetics with On’s technical expertise, the collection is designed as a top-to-toe wardrobe, geared towards exploring wild landscapes and city streets, and comes with Loewe x On’s new joint logo. 5. Velvet by Salvatore Calabrese
An outdoor terrace that sounds like a must-visit this season is the Velvet Alfresco terrace that’s launching this summer in partnership with Campari on the 19th of June. Guests can look forward to some delightful summertime aperitifs here and a small selection of Italian bites, crafted by ‘The Maestro’ Salvatore Calabrese, and the Velvet team.

6. Devonshire Terrace by Drake & Morgan and Hendricks Gin
Created in partnership with Hendrick’s Gin, The Hidden Garden at Devonshire Terrace by Drake & Morgan is a great all-weather terrace to visit to sip on cocktails with a view of London. The sharing cocktails include Hendrick’s Tea Time (Hendrick’s gin with cucumber juice, Monin kiwi puree, lemon juice and tonic – served in a charming tea pot for two) and The Cabaret Strawberry Punch that combines Hendrick’s Grand Cabaret gin with strawberry puree, lemon juice, basil leaves, diced cucumber, black pepper and soda that’s served in a Hendrick’s sharing bowl for four.

7. A Pink Floyd-themed immersive experience
The best of Pink Floyd comes together with some seriously cool technology as Brainstorms: A Great Gig in the Sky, takes up residency at the UK’s largest immersive art venue, Frameless, that aims to shine a light on the connection between music and the mind. With the soundtrack of Pink Floyd’s 1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon, visitors will be immersed in a multi-sensory journey through four immersive galleries showcasing stunning visualisations of brain activity in response to music.

8. Anna Mazzotta x La Trattoria by Alfredo Russo
Anna Mazzotta, British figurative artist, and Michelin-starred Italian Chef Alfredo Russo, are hosting a unique supper club at La Trattoria by Alfredo Russo on the 11th of June that combines the art of painting with the craft of Italian culinary excellence. The evening offers a four-course set menu created by Chef Russo while Anna live-sketches throughout. Dishes on the menu include beef carpaccio and homemade cannelloni, chicken roasted with wild garlic and aromatic herbs, and seasonal wild strawberries complemented with fresh vanilla gelato.

9. Dora Maar exhibition at Amar Gallery Fitzrovia
Opening this month, the Amar Gallery in Fitzrovia is designed to be an activist art gallery that champions overlooked female, minority, and LGBT+ artists. The opening launch exhibition, Dora Maar: Behind the Lens Dora Maar presents surrealist works of Maar as well as photographs of Picasso and Guernica, the celebrated anti-war painting for which Maar was the only official photographer. The exhibition also revisits Maar’s erasure throughout art history, as her position as Picasso’s love interest obscured her artistic talent.

10. Taste of London
Celebrating its 20th year, the Taste of London Festival returns from Wednesday 12th to Sunday 16th June, with an unmissable lineup of incredible food and drink. Look forward to five glorious days of celebrating London’s hottest restaurants and the city’s best chefs who will be hosting delicious culinary experiences. New to the festival for 2024 is elegant steakhouse Le Petit Beefbar, The Shard’s Oblix featuring an array of urban rotisserie and grill-inspired dishes, and Kolamba showcasing Sri-Lankan style home cooking with a vibrant blend of curries, sambols, and rotis. 11. Della Vite terrace
Della Vite, the award-winning prosecco brand founded by the Delevingne sisters, have partnered with Wild By Tart to takeover their terrace, transforming it into an homage to the Amalfi coast. With olive trees, citrus plants, terracotta lavender pots and hanging foliage, the covered terrace will be the perfect place to dine al fresco this the summer while sipping on a selection of Della Vite prosecco spritzes. 12. Afternoon tea at Henry’s Townhouse
The globally acclaimed East London bakery, Violet Cakes – owned by Claire Ptak, who in fact created Harry and Meghan’s wedding cake, have teamed up to create a one-of-a-kind afternoon tea experience to celebrate the start of summer in London. The three day pop-up will be set in the iconic Jane Austen-inspired Henry’s Townhouse, and guests will be seated in one of four private spaces for afternoon tea washed down with British sparkling wine from Hambledon Vineyard. Look forward to cakes, scones, madeleines and some delicious savoury bites too.

13. Sri Lankan fashion and textile trade show
The UK’s first Sri Lankan fashion and textile trade show in more than 20 years is coming to London this month. Held across two days, the show aims to showcase the best of Sri Lankan sustainable and ethical manufacturing and will see over 50 manufacturers showcasing their clothing, accessories, textiles and packaging.

14. The Spotlight Market
The Spotlight Market, heading to Clapton this June, brings together 13 different furniture and antiques dealers, including Modants, Furniture East, Anemone, Stowaway London and Mary Hossack Antiques, all of whom are experts in their respective fields. 15. Apéro at One Aldwych
Launching on June 13th, this pop-up at the Lobby Bar at One Aldwych will transport you to the South of France with Château La Coste Rosé poured from magnums and a menu of delightful French bites. 16. 10-course tasting dinner with The Macallan

17. The BBQ Club, Southbank
It’s officially BBQ season! If you prefer your grills made for you, then head to Southbank this season to enjoy a new six-course, BBQ tasting menu, championing some of London’s best local artisan suppliers, using the most sustainable produce with fresh seasonal flavours and ingredients. 18. The Beach Bar at The Montague on the Gardens
The award-winning Beach Bar at The Montague on the Gardens has transferred into a summer party venue complete with real sand, cocktails, palm trees, and a backdrop of a beach – all in the heart of Central London. Cocktails are served in coconuts on arrival, alongside a selection of wine, beers, and spirits. There will also be a suite available afterwards for dancing with a built-in dance floor and private bar. 19. Strawberry Sando at Ginza St. James’s
If you love your strawberries and cream, you shouldn’t miss this delicious strawberry feast at Japanese restaurant, Ginza St James’s. 20. The Paddington Bear Experience
If you love the story of Paddington Bear, head to this pop-up for an immersive experience where you can step into the home of the Brown family and explore some of the most memorable locations from the Paddington stories.
