The end of summer is here, and there are only a few more days of picnic weather (if we’re lucky), so it’s time to make the most of it. We’ve got some exciting neighbourhood festivals going on, including Marylebone Village‘s street party to plan ahead for and of course, Coldplay is playing at Wembley this weekend, and there are still (very few, very expensive) last-minute tickets available. Here’s our guide on what to do this weekend:

Head to this free festival

One of London’s most incredible free outdoor performing arts festivals is returning for its 30th edition this year, featuring Turning Worlds – a weekend dedicated to gravity-defying movement and imaginative theatre. At the iconic Greenwich+Docklands International Festival, you can look forward to boundary-pushing performances, from gravity-defying acts to robotic duets and spiral dances – it’s all about expecting the unexpected. Every performance is free and unticketed, so all you have to do is show up.

Watch this new film

If there are two British actors we’d be happy to see together leading a film, Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman are high on our list- and the pair are doing just that in The Roses, releasing this weekend. They play a couple who apparently have a perfect marriage, with loving children and plenty to be happy about, but this outward appearance obscures their increasingly stormy relationship, with the two growing apart due to their differing life paths. It also stars Andy SambergAllison Janney and Ncuti Gatwa.
