For a family celebration

Flavourful biryani, slow-cooked grills, spiced curries and aromatic rice dishes are just a few of the reasons to visit Copper Chimney. A London institution with a 50-year-old history, this is one of the city’s best spots for your fix of Indian flavours. There’s also a separate kids’ menu, with delicious, lightly spiced dishes like reshmi malai tikka or paneer masala.

This is one of the city’s best spots for your fix of Indian flavours.

For date night

Whether you’re looking for a place to go on your first date or your hundredth, Flat Iron is a cosy spot to visit – and especially with its heated outdoor terrace, it’s the ideal restaurant to head to for outdoor dining in the city any time of the year.

Flat Iron is a fail-safe spot I keep in my back pocket – it’s great quality, consistent, and has strong mood lighting (a non-negotiable for date night).

For a lunch meeting

If you need a spot to have a lunch meeting, Sticks’n’Sushi is a fabulous place.. The restaurant at Westfield London is lovely and chic, and you can always depend on the food to be excellent. Go for an assortment of sharing plates like the house rolls (try the wagyu tartare with kizami wasabi and crispy kataifi) or the soft-shell crab with masago and spicy sauce is an excellent choice.

If you need a spot to have a lunch meeting, Sticks’n’Sushi is the perfect place.

For a girls’ day

Move aside spa days, there’s nothing like a visit to a cat cafe for a girls’ day out. Sip on freshly brewed coffee while a purring cat lies next to you at Java Whiskers, a seriously cute space that works towards finding forever homes for cats while also providing a relaxing space for guests to interact with them.

I spent the dreamiest afternoon at Java Whiskers, sipping coffee with the sweetest cats. The cosy atmosphere made it the perfect spot to unwind with a friend.

For a solo date

Westfield London is itself the ideal place for a solo date, with fashion to browse, the chance of an exclusive beauty pop-up, and, of course, some indulgent snacks to spoil yourself with. Stop by Little Moons for the perfect sweet treat: bite-sized artisanal gelato wrapped in sweet, chewy rice flour dough.

I love Little Moons – they’re the perfect bite-sized treat. Light, fun, and there are so many great flavours to try.
