Take the hassle out of your picnic and let the experts do the work for you with one of these ready-made pampered picnics.
From Italian inspired hampers to catch of the day freshly filled boxes, here are nine places to get your pre-prepped picnic fix this summer.
Bocca di Lupo
Soho favourite, Bocca di Lupo has launched a new range of picnic feasts so you can enjoy an alfresco feast at the park, Italian style.
Delivered child, all you need to do is head to your local park and tuck into the Italian snacks and sharing dishes. The Campo Picnic Feast features favourites such as marinated peppers, creamy burrata, caponata and smoked ricotta, watermelon salad and pane carasau.
They’ve also got some cocktail coolers that’ll pair perfectly, like the Grapparita and Dacapirac. Don’t miss their BBQ boxes either – totally worth letting them sort out all your goodies.
Pique
Helping to add a punch to your typical meal deal picnic is Pique, the London picnic delivery service known for bringing the wicker treats to you.

All you need to do is arrange a time, place and pick your picnic box of choice.
Choose from their bountiful picnic options, from the ultimate brunch package, packed with your choice of breakfast bagel, blueberry pancakes, ham & gruyere filled mini croissants and more, or go big with their ‘freedom picnic’ package. There are a whole host of hampers to choose from, including a deluxe picnic hamper, vegan option and even one designed with little mouths in mind.

Adding a little spice to your picnic is Indian restaurant, Bombay Bustle. Individually packaged, pick their bustle basket and rummage your way through duck chettinad samosas; Kerala fried chicken with poppy seed pao, balchao sauce and green chilli tartare; chicken biryani with a cucumber raita; and rasgulla – cottage cheese dumplings with rose sugar syrup – to finish.

The Egerton House Hotel
Don’t be late for this very important date… The Egerton House Hotel will unveil a brand new ‘Down the Rabbit Hole Tea Picnic’ inspired by the new Alice in Wonderland exhibition launching at the V&A.
With the exhibition set to reopen in April, fans of the Wonderland adventures can visit the retrospective before making their way to The Egerton House Hotel to pick up a picnic inspired by the wild journey down the rabbit hole. Packed inside a picnic hamper, there will be a selection of Cheshire Cat tea sandwiches, homemade White Rabbit scones and a medley of Alice cakes and pastries, complete with Champagne cocktails and a flamingo croquet set.
Anson & Curtis
Catering experts Anson and Curtis have brought their years of experience to the table to bring their customers delicious, gourmet picnic bundles to enjoy at the park or in the garden.
Aptly named the ‘picnic in the park two metres apart’, there are three moreish options to choose from. Go meaty with ‘The Butcher’s Picnic’, packed with shredded sesame chicken on vegetable slaw; beetroot hummus and pea wasabi dip with crudites and tortilla crisps; leek, apple and chilli sausage roll; bulgar wheat salad; and chocolate drop brownies. Or, for the fish fiends, enjoy sesame prawns; smoked salmon pate; harissa roasted sweet potatoes, and more. There’s also a delicious veggie option packed with fresh ingredients too.
The Athenaeum
Green Park is one of my favourites. Handly located just opposite is The Athenaeum who are offering a picnic service this summer, meaning you can get all of your picnic essentials and more in one place, no hard work required.
They offer a tempting lunch picnic, made up of pork and apple sausage rolls, charcuterie, Laverstoke mozzarella and tomato salads, and smoked mackerel rillettes on olive bread to name a few. For a sweet hit, there’s the afternoon tea picnic that comes packed with sweet delicacies prepared by their pastry chef.
For those celebrating, opt for the tipsy upgrade and indulge in a bottle of Champagne or fermented cider.
Megan’s
Tis the season for alfresco dining and Megan’s has just the trick with their new fold out picnic boxes.
Available from their Battersea Power Station branch, the box comes complete with a sandwich, wrap or hummus bowl, a choice of salad, a brownie or cookie. Plus you’ll be able to choose to go bougie with a bottle of Champagne or Prosecco, or to go non-alcoholic with their homemade lemonade.
Each box serves two. Enjoy it by the riverside and experience some of the best views across the city.

The Rubens at The Palace
For those who missed out on tickets to explore Buckingham Palace’s Gardens this summer, fear not as you can still enjoy the ornate gardens and a royal feast from afar at The Rubens at the Palace.
Located just minutes from Buckingham Palace, the hotel will be offering delicious hampers abrim with lobster rolls; beet wellington shooter; smoked salmon, Lincolnshire cheddar cheese and asparagus quiche; and black pudding scotch eggs. Available for guests or those who live within a five-mile radius of the hotel, enjoy a feast in style with a background of the royal gardens.

Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane
Experience the taste of Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane in the park thanks to their new picnic hamper for two. Designed in partnership with Dom Pérignon, there are two tempting hampers on offer.
First up is the classic hamper packed with savoury treats and macarons from Pierre Hermé Paris and a bottle of Dom Pérignon Rosé to wash it down. Or, opt for something a little different with their afternoon tea offering, made up of finger sandwiches, pastries and scones. You’ll even have your very own butler to set the perfect park scene. Perfect.
Fortnum & Mason
Hampers are a Fortnum & Mason trademark. From the statement F&M printed on the hamper through to the bougie supplies packed inside, they quite literally have a hamper for every occasion. So granted, this isn’t a restaurant inclusion, but it would just feel wrong not to include them in a round-up about picnicking hampers.
For a celebration, there’s the celebration hamper packed with triple cream cheese, all butter crackers, chilli nuts, stuffed cocktail olives and wine. Or, have a summer adventure with Fortnum’s summertime wicker and enjoy smoked salmon, cheeses, pickles and preserves.
