The Savoir (Re) Faire Supper Series
London’s zero-waste restaurant Silo has partnered with Maison Ruinart to launch a monthly supper series that’s inspired by Ruinart Blanc Singulier champagne. The supper series is all about showcasing the restaurant’s response to the challenges of climate change, so you can expect sustainable gastronomy on your plate. If you’re craving some NYC-style pizza, this month is looking great for you. The team behind Jay-Z‘s favourite pizza spot, Lucali, is bringing the cult New York pizza joint Proper Slice BYGB to London for just a month. Some iconic slices include the New York (spicy vodka tomato sauce, mozzarella, salami, stracciatella and basil) and the Mafioso (spicy meatball marinara, mozzarella, chillies and red onion).

Book lovers, this one’s for you! Canary Wharf will now have Short Story stations, launched in partnership with Penguin Books so you can get yourself free stories, poems and extracts from novels. For South Asian Heritage Month, there will be some great picks available including Sathnam Sanghera ’s Empireworld, Naina Kumar’s Say You’ll Be My Jaan and work from Penguin-published authors like Salman Rushdie and Lavina Mehta.
