5 Standout Moments From Copenhagen Fashion Week

Whilst Paris, Milan, London and New York showcase the world’s biggest fashion names, Copenhagen Fashion Week is quickly becoming one of our favourites. Last week, some of the most exciting Scandinavian and international names took to the runways to show their spring/summer 2025 collections. From the street style to collections we cannot wait to drop, these were our top five Copenhagen Fashion Week moments.
REMAIN
The Scandi-style influencers may be known for their dopamine colour palettes and love for cute accessories. REMAIN’s SS25 show offered something for the more sober dresser. Showing in the Danish capital on Tuesday, models took to the runway in silhouettes inspired by the fitness culture of the ’80s and the body-centric style of the ’90s.
Shape was everything in this collection, with exaggerated tailoring, snatched waists and architectural shoulders all taking centre stage. The strong lines were, however, softened with pretty sheer and iridescent fabrics, intricate pleats and soft corsetted tops. These two polar ends of the sartorial spectrum were galvanised with the most elegant colour palette, from milky whites to cornflower blue, dove greys and a pop of raspberry hue.
Our hero? The funnel-neck, cocoon coat in raspberry red – which is just as good layered over a sexy silk slip dress as a pair of inky blue jeans and a white tee.

La Bagatelle
One of the things we love so much about Copenhagen Fashion Week is the new brand discoveries it provides. This season, that was La Bagatelle, a Danish brand that epitomises easy elegance and celebrates precious fabrics, and jewel-toned colours, all created with an artisanal touch. If you’re a lover of vintage fashion, this is one to watch.
The presentation on Tuesday could have easily been a showcase of some of the finest vintage finds. In fact, it is the brainchild of designer Malene Malling, who sources the most beautiful vintage fabrics and turns them into made-to-order, keep-forever pieces.

There were harlequin print jackets in ’60s shapes, black velvet evening dresses and lace-trimmed waistcoats. An utterly dreamy collection and a name we are excited to follow for seasons to come.
OpéraSPORT
If you’ve been following Copenhagen Fashion Week on socials, you will have seen this stunning show. Taking place at Opera Park on the edge of the iconic Copenhagen harbour, OpéraSPORT’s spring/summer 2025 collection was a refreshingly wearable offering. From ’70s-inspired blouses in metallic fabrics to great denim, jacquard waistcoats to elevate simple jeans + shirt combos, and sporty polo shirts to silk evening skirts, although the styling was bonafide runway fodder, the individual pieces would sing in any woman’s wardrobe.

The choice of models was refreshing too, with a diverse and inclusive line-up from race to age and size. Models took to the sunny location wearing a mix of feminine elegance and practical fits, resulting in versatile styles that seamlessly transition from day to night.

ROTATE
A glamorous mix of roaring ’20s, ’70s disco and ’80s shoulders made their way onto the runway for ROTATE’s hotly-anticipated SS25 show in the city’s stunning Royal Library’s Garden. Some major trends showed face, from floor-sweeping fringing to beautiful dropped waist dresses and evening jackets embellished with gold corsages. The colour palette was mainly after-hours black and white but with a shock of hot Barbie pink – we’re clearly still not over 2023’s favourite shade.

On the FROW, cameras were all pointed at the icon that is Pamela Anderson, a vision in a white-on-white look of a crisp white shirt, high-waisted flares and pearls to finish off. So simple but so chic.
The Street Style
The Scandi style set is always a great source of fashion inspiration. Scroll to see some of our favourite looks outside the shows and front row. Bicycles included because, well… Scandi gals.
