It looks like 2024 is set to be just a big a year in terms of beauty, with plenty more brands launching in recent months. Sonsie
You’ll all be familiar with actress and activist Pamela Anderson’s approach to red carpet beauty. Throughout 2023 she was captured completely makeup-free and radiant at a host of high profile events, which may not seem like the most radical move, but in the world of A-listers and the age of the filter, it was a bold.
When Pamela announced a couple of months ago that she had aquired new beauty brand, Sonsie, and would be acting as Co-Founder and Owner, her approach to beauty and makeup all made sense.
The brand, which was originally founded by German-born model and creator Marie von Behrens-Felipe and CEO Roberto A. Felipe in the summer of 2023, believe that customers have lost sight of what beauty really means, akways looking for a quick fix. Sonsie is the antidote to that, taking simple, straightforward formulas, a good foundation of products and a healthy attitude to how we look.
The collection is small but mighty with a Basic Balm, a Super Serum and a Multi Moisture Mask. Oh, and top points for bathroom shelf appeal – the branding is *chef’s kiss.

Herbar
Hailing from Berlin, Herbar is a beauty brand all about harnessing the magic of mushrooms. Mushrooms have been a bit of a buzzword in the health and wellbeing sphere for some time now, from aiding better immunity to powering healthy brain function.
Herbar has taken that and turned it to beauty, with a small but interesting collection of products. There’s a Face Oil that de-stresses and rebalances the skin; a Face Nectar that is essentially a really hard working hyaluronic acid for super hydration; Face Pearls that are little drops of de-stressing, collagen-boosting joy taken as a daily supplement; and finally, a mushroom shaped gua sha which is quite possibly the sweetest beauty gift you could buy a skincare junkie.
And you only have to read the reviews to see that the proof is in the pudding with pretty much every review getting five stars.
