The Handbook’s Interiors Heroes column returns for another month of what’s new and catching our eye in the world of home design. You’ll no doubt know India Cardona for her impeccable sense of style, but the London-based content creator has made a foray into interiors this month, with help from homewares brand Bias Editions.
The 12-piece vase collection has been jointly designed with India and features classic Bias bud vases, round orb vases and chic carafes all intended to be styled with your favourite blooms to create an Insta-worthy tablescape.
The colours and patterns are subtle enough to work into any existing interiors mood, but have a hint of playfulness too – think soft pretty milky pastels and designs of stripes, dots and swirls . They are also all individually hand-blown in Ireland making every one slightly unique and extra special.

Margate House Hotel
Margate House is the latest edition to come to ‘Shoreditch-on-Sea’ and it is seriously going to please interiors aficionados
Self-proclaimed by the team behind it as a “bohemian bolthole”, Margate House is the latest hotel opening to come to Kent seaside and it is seriously going to please interiors aficionados looking for a staycation by the sea.
Made up of nine bedrooms, this beautiful boutique hotel has been interior designed down to the finest details, from the consistent pink, terracotta and burgundy colour palette that runs throughout, to the vintage posters that adorn the walls and the playful humbug striped bed linen in each of the unique rooms.
The opening is the passion project of Will Jenkins – a property developer and owner of a successful London rental company – who has lovingly restored much of the previously derelict building into Margate’s hottest new opening. It’s also perfectly positioned a stone’s throw from the beach and near Margate’s ever-growing rota of cool bars, innovative restaurants and independent galleries.

Soho Home Launch New Bathroom Collection
From their fluffy ‘House’ towels to their chic bouclé chairs, timeless glassware to architectural inspired travertine coffee tables, Soho Home can do little wrong when it comes to interiors.
The brand has just launched a new bathroom collection, comprising House-inspired vanity units, mirrors, lighting, and more and we are obsessed.
As always, the collection takes direct inspiration from the iconic group’s houses, and for this line, they have chosen three from around the world – Soho Farmhouse in Oxfordshire, Soho House Holloway in LA and Soho House Paris.
Each and every piece oozes unadulterated luxury, from the beautiful heavy woods to vintage-inspired shapes and warm luxurious lighting.
The cabinets, which are a first for Soho Home, are without doubt the show pieces of the collection. Available with both single and double sinks, they will create a natural focal point in a room and a sense of grandeur. The Valerie is our favourite, thanks to its nod to the 1940s-inspired glamour of Soho House Paris. With its curved silhouette and indulgent marble top, it feels more like a beautiful piece of vintage bedroom furniture rather than a bathroom vanity.
