Titled The Great Christmas Feast, Londoners are invited to enter the winding, starlit streets of Victorian London and lose themselves in the magic of Dickens’ timeless tale, A Christmas Carol. 

Hidden inside their West Kensington location, you’ll find cinematic live music, mesmerising set designs and a three-course Yuletide feast awaits you.

Guided by Charles himself, the experience will see you come face-to-face with his lively characters, dine on a Victorian-inspired banquet and even enjoy cocktails from Dickens’ very own personal cellar.

Explore this pop-up cabaret bar 

This winter sees Selfridges London team up with West End theatre production, Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, for an exciting month-long residency. 

The Lounge on the fourth floor of Selfridges has been transformed into a unique bar experience where the seven-time Olivier award-winning show will take centre stage. Filled with flamboyance and theatrics, you can look forward to diving into a celebration menu of small plates and Champagne cocktails, wines and cuvées from Moët & Chandon. You’ll be transported to Weimar Germany as dancers from the production perform around you. 

Costumes and archival pieces from the electrifying performance will be on display, including Emcee and Sally Bowles.

Hop aboard the Murdér Express for a night to remember

As immersive experiences go, this Agatha Christie-esque is guaranteed to have you gripped from the moment you step inside the enchanting world of 1920s East London. All aboard the train to the fictional French town of Murdér, where nothing is as it seems.

The live theatre performance is accompanied by a decadent 4-course menu, prepared by Michelin star chef Niall Keating. Highlights include braised beef cheek, parmigiana di melanzane and a white chocolate cigar for dessert.

Capture the festive spirit on this steam railway 

It’s full speed ahead at this festive steam railway experience. The Christmas Train of Light returns for another winter season, bursting with thousands of lights on both the inside and outside of the carriages. 

The journey begins at Queen’s Park Station, Paignton and will see you hop aboard the vintage carriages for an evening filled with fun. You’ll speed through the 450-metre Greenway tunnel, entering an enchanting forest filled with Christmassy displays.

Venture to the Christmassy Hogwarts in the Snow 

From giant banquets filled to the nines to flying witches and inviting fireplaces, Hogwarts in the Snow is truly magical. 

You’ll have the chance to discover all of your favourite Harry Potter locations, including the Great Hall, the Gryffindor Boys’ Dormitory, the common rooms and step into the Forbidden Forest. 

Expect to discover just how the films were made and learn a few Hollywood secrets in the process, including how a never-melting snow was created. You’ll end the our with a walk around the Hogwarts Castle model that’s blanketed with snow for Christmas.
