In need of a February pick-me-up? Harvey Nichols has crafted a series of new set menus that are packed with nourishing, seasonal ingredients.
Available until 17th March, diners can look forward to a three-course feast paired with a signature cocktail from just £30. Expect to be dining on the likes of spiced lentil and butternut squash soup; duck breast with caramelised parsnip and fennel with a hazelnut and orange jus; and baked dark chocolate cheesecake with spiced chestnut Chantilly. Created in collaboration with Absolut Elyx, you can wash it down with an exclusive Absolut Spritz or Elyx’s Sour.
Available at Harvey Nichols’ Fifth Floor Café in Knightsbridge, the Second Floor Restaurant in Bristol, the Fourth Floor Brasserie and Bar in Leds, the Brasserie in Edinburgh and the OXO Tower’s Brasserie and Restaurant, you won’t want to dine anywhere else this winter.

If you haven’t already visited NOW Gallery’s eye-catching exhibition, make sure you do before it closes this Sunday.
Its 2023 Fashion Commission, Greetings from Ireland, by Dublin-born designer Robyn Lynch, is a striking display that allows visitors to dive into the playful universe of Lynch and her renowned menswear label.
Nodding to retro culture, this series includes Irish iconography including shamrocks and green tones, all housed inside a giant bouncy castle-style inflatable structure. Fun for all ages, it’s not to be missed.

Get grooving with this dancing workshop

Looking to get your dance on? Simmer Down is Southbank Centre’s new series dedicated to reggae rhythm and gets you moving, grooving and having fun.
This free monthly meet-up kicks off this Friday 23rd February and invites Londoners down to meet friends, old and new, and immerse themselves in the energy of reggae music. The session brings together a series of musicians and local people for a joyful afternoon celebrating live music.

Carousel, known for its iconic chef takeover series and innovative dishes, has welcomed Amandine Sepulcre-Haung to create a flavour-packed menu that’s sure to delight.
Born into a Sino-Réunion and Moroccan household, she has been making waves across Paris and recently took over the reins at Le Mary Celeste, offering a small but mighty menu of seasonal sharing plates. In this intimate Carousel takeover, she will be bringing her style to the table for just five nights.
Dishes include scallops and yuzu; stuffed crab and XO; hot and sour soup; duck and Sichuan; and rice pudding with furikake.

Get inspired at this science festival

Discover this moving exhibition
Manchester’s Gay Village is a vital part of the LGBTQIA+ history in the UK, but many of its venues are inaccessible to disabled LGBTQIA+ people. Left isolated and forgotten, this new exhibition at People’s History Museum takes a look at how the barriers to access can impact one’s sense of identity as an LGBTQIA+ individual.
On display until 8th April, it brings together a collection of work by local artists and activists, including Dara SF Addams, Evans Coombes, James Desser, Jade Louise Kay, Dee Lister, Ellie Ora Page and Oliver Waite.
