With both Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks to follow, I took time to indulge in the eclectic style seen at London Fashion Week. While Copenhagen‘s coolest served up the bold and the daring, and New York offered grown-up chic, London’s designers, content creators, editors, and models sashayed through the streets in their finest and most creative. Expect both the polished and quirky from 2026’s latest street style trends…

This season already feels lighter and brighter – perhaps because the torrential rain has finally subsided. I mean, is there anything more devastating than seeing fashion’s big hitters getting drenched as they flit between shows in their carefully coordinated finery? Possibly, but the creativity was not to be dampened. I spotted both the impeccably tailored and the fantastical. If you’re after sartorial inspiration, now is the time to get scrolling.

It’s also easy to note street style trends that are unquestionably more attainable than some of the showstopping spectacles on the catwalks. Leathers and faux leathers were evident everywhere in the form of oversized jackets, trousers and wide pleated skirts. Often paired with feathers or lace, this rugged trend has taken on a more feminine personality. I’m on board and have already added Zara’s funnel neck jacket to my payday wish list. And speaking of funnel neck jackets, the fashion-savvy are wearing them as if their lives depend on it. Yes, in leather-made bikers, but also on classic trench coats, windbreaker jackets and casual quarter zip sweaters. This elevated design detail adds instant cool.

When it comes to colour, I clocked pastels, specifically pale greens and baby blues, but it was the fiery lava reds that stole the show. Honestly, while it may feel supercharged and overwhelming, red is a shade to turn heads for all the right reasons. Even when paired with the abundance of pared-back grey tailoring, it packs a punch. Then the finishing touches. I adored the oversized sunnies, bandana scarves, and brooches, but it was the novelty bags that were guaranteed to captivate followers. Oh, and the hats, from peaked caps to pillbox hats, headwear is here to wow.

2. The pill box hat

As much as I struggled to get on board with this retro-inspired trend, the style set is obsessed. And rightly so. Each and every content creator to don a pill box hat has looked impeccable and so effortlessly chic.

4. Funnel necks

5. Novelty handbags

6. All the reds
